We were not originally planning to eat here but our plans changed the night before. They do not take reservations on Saturday night but we were a party of 7 and had a unique situation. My wife called and spoke to them and they were very nice and held a table for us. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. Service was EXCELLENT. Atmosphere is great - really pleasant. We had drinks - Sangria. Ordered a pitcher for $35 but mostly ice was service. Had a couple of appetizers and then main meals. Food came quickly, very tasty, presentation excellent. Dessert was a melting cake. Good cake but for the price, they should have given a scoop of Ice Cream instead of just a squirt of whipped cream. While food is very good, portions could be larger for the price. Really enjoyed our meal although I have to say that the cost for a dairy restaurant is high. To me this is a more expensive, fancier Upper Crust. I would consider returning but because of the prices would save it for a special occasion and not a regular everyday meal.

The Applebeeâs Restaurant in Rosedale, New York is located just off of Rockaway Blvd and is in the front of a strip mall. Very easy to find and the parking is awesome. The service was fast and polite and the food was very good. What I really enjoyed were the many large flat screen TVâs around the entire restaurant. Making this almost a Sports Bar!I had a very nice soup of the day and then a large Lettuce Wedge with a nice house salad dressing. We were there on a Saturday night and they were open until 2:00 AM.If you find your self in the Rosedale or Jamaica or near JFK areas of Long Island a stop by Applebeeâs is well worth the drive and effort.

Swingbellyâs Country Chicken Sandwich is not filling at all! It is quite expensive for its small portion. Serving it on a rectangular aluminum tray lined with wax paper that serves as a plate with pickled onions and pickles is not appetizing. The bread of the Shrimp BLT sandwich is too thick. I like the freshness of the LT and avocado but it was served with insufficient shrimps.
