I recently booked the quays for my mum's retirement party. The staff were more than happy to decorate the room for me and very accommodating when I needed to change the buffet time. Carrie and Jamie provided excellent customer service by continually asking about the food and keeping our wee party room tidy. George the barman asked us later on if everything was ok which was a nice personal touch as the bill was already paid. Good customer service goes a long way. We will definitely be back.

Something is most definitely brewing in Portrush - beer is making a quiet and classy comeback! By forging strong links with domestic, individual, artisan brewers Kiwi's Brew Bar is able to source suds that you simply can't get elsewhere along with the bes

I’ve been going to Portrush for many years and usually headed down to the usual venues at the harbour, which are also great. I can’t believe that I haven’t visited this bar before as it is a great venue. Which door to get in can be a bit confusing but once in it’s a great cosy bar with great friendly service and a limited but delicious food menu (mostly burgers). Great Guinness and good variety of other beers and spirits. Looking forward to my next visit.

Was up north last week, visited the Giants Causeway, decided to pop into Bushmills for a pint. What a super little pub, usually beer, Guinness or Harp. Regulars very friendly. Added bonus was a parade of some local bands with their flutes and drums. Sadly no "Big Lambeg Drum"

Our first visit. Gin & tonics in small glasses with two ice cubes and a wafer thin slice of lemon wasn’t a great start. My mussels were OK but my wife’s duck was pretty tough. In true Ulster style we didn’t complain, but I doubt that we will be back. Both the bistrot and the restaurant were pretty dead on a Friday night, but I think that a lot of the trade is at lunchtime when booked coach parties call in.It feels like somewhere with a lot more potential, just needs a little injection of style.
