Friendly, warm environment. Hard to find location, tucked away in the US Bank parking lot on the NE corner of Calhoun and Capitol. Worth finding!
Go somewhere else. Maybe I am a bit old fashioned but pushing a button to get service and pushing another button to get your check really was a big turn off. How about the server just come check on us? The food was just average. My husband had the Blue burger with Blue cheese, bacon, mushrooms, etc... and there is so much stuff on it you couldn't even taste the actual burger. He scraped about 3/4 of the toppings off and it was ok then. I got the pork belly flatbread, which was ok. Tiny little bits of pork belly, I was really expecting some meat. I liked mine good enough. Popcorn was so salty I spit it out. Bad. Anyway, maybe it appeals to others, but I like to go out to eat to get service and good food, which neither was here. There were only 3 tables at lunch time in the bar side, so why do we still need to push buttons to get our servers attention???
Took my family here to eat dinner and breakfast during the gaming convention. For the dinner, I ordered a pasta, that was touted on the menu as having a variation of cheeses and truffles in small pillows. What I got was slimy, soggy sort of things of pasta (couldn't tell what they were) that did have cheese in them and probably a small smattering of truffles. Couldn't even taste them. What they tasted like was plastic... things... smothered in chopped tomatoes and garlic. For something that I was hoping would wow me really let me down. My kids' meals were OK. The wait staff was not very attentive, and seemed a little put out when I asked what the heck it was they served me. :) For breakfast, again... okay. Not great. We had the breakfast buffet, and one trip was enough. The fruit was too soft, overripe, and just not completely pleasant. The eggs were plasticish tasting and left a yellowish fluid all over my plate. Sausage and bacon was good, though. Coffee was just meh. Not great. I only had one cup when I usually have two. Overall, I was unimpressed, disappointed, and not really satisfied with the meals I had.

Service was a little bit of a slow start. About to get up, but then I was greeted. Beers came quickly and cold. Burger was decent, and I like the onion rings. If you like bar food and cold beer. And, Like TVs every 3 feet this is a great place to go.

Meet some friends after work, had a good time. Business picked up as the work day ended. Nikki was a great bartender *and* covered all of the tables...really excellent service. Tasty drinks ... mule with lime vodka was excellent, and loved the bloody mary and all the accompaniments. Moz sticks and fried shrimp appetizer were crunchy but pretty average. Lots of parking, spacious interior, clean bar and tables.
We serve outstanding steak sandwiches, larger steaks, appetizers, various specials and a great Friday Fish Fry. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. We also have Martini specials. Our staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. There is on si
We've wanted to try this place for many years and finally found time. We were welcomed immediately and got seated right away because we arrived early. Very attentive waitress and the food was delivered very quickly. We were not disappointed in the fish fry. The only flaws we could find were it was a bit greasy which could be remedied by putting it on an extra napkin before eating. One more non-food item that I personally noted was that there were dead flies on the widow and quite a few cobwebs that could be taken care of. Not earth shattering but just noticed. We definitely will be back with family and friends! Can't wait to try the steaks!!

We stopped here on a recent Saturday night. We were seated immediately. They have a very extensive menu with an emphasis on Southwest cooking. My wife ordered the prime rib fajitas and I ordered a special â3 for Meâ (appetizer, entrée and dessert). Our drinks came promptly as did the appetizer (chips and salsa). The chips were crisp but very greasy. My wife really enjoyed her fajitas and my burger was very average and it had too much mustard on it. We finished our meal and were waiting to order dessert but our server seemed to have disappeared. Finally, a manager came over and asked if everything was OK. I told him we still had a dessert coming and he said he would take care of it. We waited another 15 minutes before getting the dessert and then waited again for our bill. The food was decent and after a good start our service went straight downhill. It will be a long time before we come back here.

I had lunch here the other week. The sandwiches were ok but nothing special. The fries were a little overcooked and didn't have great flavor. The server was friending and attentive but there is no reason to say anything special about Slims. The decor is typical bar. An ok place to get a bite to eat but nothing great.

We are a family of seven here to support my two grandkids in their fund raiser for their twirl company. We ordered Irish stew, Shepherds pie, corned beef and cabbage, a hamburger, and three Reuben sandwiches. Everything tasted great and service staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food....wings are fantastic with a fabulous variety of sauces! Great burgers, pizza and more. Nice selection of draft beers. More well located TV's than most sports bars and good audio. A local favorite for Packers games, Brewers games, UW football and Marquette and UW basketball games!!!

Sluggo"s has great bar food. We stopped in for lunch. Being retired allows you to even have a beer with lunch :) Sandwiches are very good whether burgers or others. Join the Sluggo's "club" and get monthly coupons with cash off your meals or some nice gifts as well. Great place, no matter what.
