It's a lovely country pub that serves English, European & Caribbean food which is a unique combination in its locality. They even do monthly Caribbean themed nights.
We visited the Wildmoor Inn on a cool autumn day with rain in the air, looking to try their Jamaican dishes. The outside was not that inviting with dark blue painted walls, however when inside we received a very friendly welcome and went into the dining area. There were diners at 2 other tables. After the drinks order was taken we perused the menu. Several Jamaican dishes but also a lasagne etc. We started with artisan bread which was attractively served with different breads and then goat curry and jerk chicken breast. Both meals were delicious. Certainly recommend the food and quite a find in the countryside off the A491 but close to Junction 4 of the M5.

Booked weeks in advance for my wife's birthday, on arrival with a party of 15 was told the booking had been cancelled but they couldn't tell me who by or why they hadn't called me. They then decided to offer seating at separate tables but did eventually pull some tables together. They hadn't got a record of the pre-ordered meals but luckily we had brought a copy. My wife was told they had saved her the sweet she had ordered but it had been dropped on the floor (amazing they had saved it when they claimed they hadn't got a copy of the pre-ordered meals). The food was of a poor standard and I would not recommend this venue. We are terribly sorry about your experience from that night, somebody within the party had called that morning to say it would only be 6 people, therefore we no longer needed the preorder but the dessert would still be available so thats how it was saved, we did manage to accommodate the party and try to make sure that your visit was an enjoyable one, but it seemed that from the get go, the visit was tainted due to the mis-communication on both parties, once again we are saddened by the standard that you felt you recieved and we can hope that in the future you would reconsider us,SorrySwan

A very tasty meal but could have an extra option for more vegetables to be added, or a choice of different vegetables/salad if and when required. Staff are friendly and polite. Our party of six returned after a long while following a disappointing experience. It was a dismal Saturday night and fairly quiet in the restaurant but we had booked in advance. For starters we ordered the goats cheese Bon bons and the Camembert sharing plate which were beautifully presented. Our main courses were, haddock and chips, sirloin steak, trout and the huge ewes burger. All were freshly cooked, generous portions and again well presented I just had room for the lemon cheesecake with meringue which was out of this world. The service was good but the food was without exception excellent. Times have changed for the better and weâll be back.

The Queens Head pub and restaurant is located in a tranquil setting overlooking the water of one of Worcestershires most beautiful canals. As the sun sparkles on the water, kick back and relax with a glass of your favourite tipple and treat yourself to som
I have visited the Queens on many occasions, always receiving wonderful service! This recent visit was as always wonderful! They had a range of sober October mocktails which were reasonably priced and great tasting! I had the scotch egg off the specials a classic with a modern twist, I was recommended a lovely red wine by the male manager! Enjoyed it so much again I have booked in for a large family meal over the month off December.

A lovely pub/restaurant close to the canal. We offer a varied menu of British cuisine with daily specials.Very reasonably priced with homemade dishes available. All are welcome. Dogs are welcome in the bar area. We have local ales and a selection of beers
Arrived half an hour early after driving a distance to attend a family birthday dinner. We needed the toilet and went in to ask if we could use the loo as we had been sat in the car park since 11.45 for lunch. We walked into an empty bar and a member of staff abruptly shouted we are not open yet from behind the bar. She promptly disappeared and another Male asked if we had booked with the large party after he agreed to let us use the toilet. We then came out to sit in the empty bar. 12.05 and lots of local footballers came in for drinks. We then asked if we could have two soft drinks. The footballers gotblouder and language was horrendous seeing as this was a bar in a local restaurant. Customer service was non existent.

Opened in 1976, our philosophy still remains the same to this day; good food, decent beer and a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere. The speciality here is Tex Mex, and we should know, weâve been doing it for over 45 years now. This accompanied with our ex
Went for a family meal in August. The service was very speedy and the food was plentiful and tasted great. Visited the following Sunday for lunch. Opted for the Sunday roast. Was disappointed whilst the vegetables were cooked to perfection the roast potatoes were almost raw and my pet hate is gravy already poured over the dinner as Iâm not keen on gravy. Wouldnât go here again for Sunday lunch but the main menu is varied for pub food.

So people have been telling us about the Nailers for years, and we have often popped in for a drink, but in all honesty i'm not a fan of carverys so we hadn't ever eaten here. However on Monday evening after weekend away I couldn't be bothered to cook and fancied a roast. So we thought we'd give the Nailers a try as our local Toby Carvery has so often disappointed.Well what can I say, the food was excellent, from thickly carved Beef & Turkey (there was Gammon too) and the freshly prepared veg - of which there was a fabulous choice to the excellent gravy I have never enjoyed a roast in a restaurant of any sort so much - it was exactly like a home cooked dinner. In fact my hubby and I enjoyed it so much we re-booked for a Sunday lunch in a couple of weeks before we left! The staff were also excellent, friendly and attentive without being over bearing, think we might become regulars!Thank you very much for taking the time to share your wonderful five star review from a recent visit to our establishment with the Trip Advisor community. It was a delight to read your flattering feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back for more delicious meals in the very near future and would love to have you as Regular's at our establishment where a warm welcome will always be waiting!Kind regardsShula Witherford

Recently renovated and reopened on 3rd November 2015 under new management. All previous reviews do not represent new ownership and are not reflective of the fully refurbished, bar, kitchen and dining area. We are a family run pub using fresh, locally sour
This is a very special place. Set in glorious countryside in the heart of Worcestershire. The restaurant is in a modern, attractive building and the staff are well trained and very welcoming. Our starters were delicious. I had French Onion Soup served with a lightly toasted baguette. My friends had a well presented and tasty prawn cocktail. My main was a tasty risotto with smoked haddock and leek. The fish pie looked equally attractive. Add to this first class desserts and you have the perfect lunch. We shall definitely go again. Highly recommended.
