Don't be fooled by the front of the building. It looks like a dive. Inside everything looks fresh, clean and welcoming. The walls are decorated "eclectically" with police department shoulder patches from, I would guess, more that 200 departments. Also very noticeable are goofy plaques, many of which are worth reading. If you are a beer lover, they have a good selection of drafts, and a huuugge selection of bottles. The service was excellent. Bar pizza is overpriced and average. Chicken Teriaki is a good sized order, with big plump wings. Problem, they are way too salty.
After our annual wine tasting each November & April, our wine group flocks to the Brew House. Although this is NOT a place for wine lovers, it IS a place for camaraderie and nachos, not to mention great cheese burgers & beer. As I am not a beer drinker,I get by on gin & tonic but the beer lovers in my group swear by the multiple varieties of local & imported beer. The service here is top notch, bar staff (Artie) extremely attentive and the food, albeit the bar variety, makes this wine lover want to keep coming back despite the lack of drinkable wine.

My wife and I were looking for a restaurant close to the Beantown Inn and found this place. It has an Italian Name, and we thought we could find a nice dinner salad there. Well they did have nice salads, but the rest of the food was superior. When you first walk in, you see a big F1 sign. I had no clue what it meant. Then you got into the lobby and they had full size F1 racing cars and Nascars racers on display. This was a racing sports bar/restaurant! We walked into the dining area of the bar, and sat down. We had some Yeungling ale and then looked at the menu. I had the perfect grilled salmon and perfect asparagus. Everything was fresh. My wife ordered herb spiced chicken breasts and coleslaw (really good). The meal was perfect and the ale was good. For desert we had tiramasu. It was made with sponge cake, espresso, white chocolate flakes, and some Italian cheese. It was out first time to have it. We drank their great coffee and ate the desert. From there we could see the giant indoor go-kart track. This was an amazing out of the box dining experience, and the cost was "upper-moderate". The wait staff were efficient. It was lile Scotty beamed him to our table. He suddenly appeared with ale or food.

Had lunch with a friend, sat at the bar. We had the crab cakes, Greek salad and club sandwich. The Greek salad was a bit uninspiring - all iceberg & they used banana peppers, not pepperoncinis. The crab cakes were delicious and the club sandwich was awesome (we ordered two rather than three pieces of bread). The bartender was great, the wine pours were good, and Joseph, the general manager was polite and kind. The prices were reasonable too.

In town on business, I was looking for a casual spot for dinner. It was late, and Southside Tavern had good reviews, so I thought Iâd give it a try.Itâs a sports bar. A little rough, a little dingy, very loud inside, but a boatload of TVs on the wall, friendly service, generous pours, and my salmon entrée was tasty and nicely prepared. For a fine dinner out, you may want to look elsewhere, but if youâre looking for a place to watch a game or have a drink with friends, Southside Tavern fits the bill.

We have been here before and talked my sister and her husband into trying out this restaurant. We had a cheese pizza, Steak Tips and my favorite Bolognese, everyone was very happy with their meal. Service was also very good. They had the front windows open as it was hot out, but the air conditioning was over powering. A good place to eat.

Two friends and I had dinner together at The Fours on a Thursday evening. We sat in the main dinning room which offered a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Waitress attended us right away and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Two of us had the salmon or stuffed haddock dinner, which were both excellent. The third person had a stuffed chicken selection. Servings were plentiful, We didn't have room for dessert. Entrees might be considered by some a little expensive, $20 and above, though sides come with the meals. City of Quincy offers free evening parking at several nearby lots, which made coming to The Fours for dinner less stressful.
