The Blacksmiths is a newly renovated pub with rooms situated on the outskirts of the historical city of Chichester in the old village of Donnington. Restored in a relaxed and comfortable style with a few quirky twists, guests can enjoy the blazing fire an
We recently stayed at The Blacksmiths (Barn Owl room) for two nights while attending a nearby wedding. We didn't realise when we arrived that Wednesday night was burger night and obviously extremely popular but staff were able to find us a table and we enjoyed some brilliant food for dinner! The garden and outside seating area was very quiet and a great place to relax in the evening before heading in for a few drinks before bed. Our room and bathroom (with rolltop bath) were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay. Breakfast was just good as dinner and the staff were very accommodating throughout.

The Woodmancote Pub is set in beautiful surroundings in the Village of Woodmancote. We serve food from 09:30-21:00 Monday - Saturday and 09:30-19:30 on Sunday. We use only the finest ingredients and buy local produce when we can. We pride ourselves on goo
This is a lovely pub to socialise and eat in. The managers have worked very hard over recent years to make this place the local place to come. All the Management & Staff are always warm and friendly. The ambience of this quirky pub is like no other pub around, well not locally, you need to visit to appreciate why people call it quirky. With regular music and tribute acts of a very good standard itâs such a nice, pleasant place to be in. It has to be said my wife and I only pop in on the off chance when out walking for a little sustenance which is always nice but more regularly for the Sunday Roast. As for the Roast: we have lost count of our visits over recent years but itâ is many and we have never had a bad experience. The food is cooked in view and is always plentiful with a choice of meats and fresh veg which include swede, cauliflower cheese, cabbage, carrots, roast potatoâs and a large Yorkshire pudding, not forgetting the always beautiful gravy, if your fortunate you might be lucky enough to catch the Manager with his Chef hat on as heâs often shown to be a fine cook himself. We really like and recommend this well run pub and always bring our friends here when the occasion arises. We are reliably informed by some of our walking friends that the breakfasts from 09.30ish are very tasty too.

Our passion for local produce at the Crown and Anchor is at the heart of everything that we do. In order to bring you the freshest possible seafood, we write a daily menu dictated by what our local boats have landed that morning. Whether it be Dover Sole,
Visited this pub for the first time in a while and had a very pleasant evening meal. The place was very busy - this is not the place to turn up on the off chance of getting a table. Luckily we had booked well in advance. There was a very nice atmoshere here with a live guitarist which added to the overall experience. The menu is not as extensive as some but the emphasis here is on quality local ingredients and there is something here for everyone - plenty of good local seafood for example. Service was efficent although the gap between starters and main was fairly long. They also had only one real ale available on the evening which was disappointing. The food itself was plantyful - the fish and chips especially so - very generous portion of fbattered fish and very light batter. The burger was very tasty but could have benefitted fron a small additional salad with it as standard - it came on a large plate with just fries which just a salad garnish would have added to. The pearl barley vegetarian risotto was very nice but over-salted which my wife commented on after the meal. Something to work on.Overall though a good local venue using local ingredients - we would return.Thank you for your recent visit and for sharing your feedback and review, which I will discuss with the team.We hope to welcome you again soon at Dell Quay.

Our menu demonstrates our love of Sussex and Hampshire local produce which is cooked totally from scratch. Andy and Lisa head the hospitable team in the pub-restaurant and Jordan Pennant and Jordan Thomson look after the creativeness of the kitchen, servi

The Bosham Inn in Chichester is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and
Excellent service, excellent food, warm atmosphere. Online booking was a painless exercise. We received a friendly welcome as soon as we arrived. Our concerns that the wheelchair access might not be suitable were entirely groundless - all aspects were most appropriate for someone in a wheelchair. Service was patient and very customer friendly, and delivery prompt without being pressed. The meals - Sunday roasts - were delicious, and the staff handled our group of eleven people without any problem - including all ages from 3 months, older children, adults and senior citizens. I cant think of a single thing that detracted.pebble-and-simba,Your detailed, positive review means alot to us here at The Bosham Inn and we are absolutely delighted that we meet your expectations throughout. It is wonderful to read that you found the service team and the chef's provided excellent meals and service and that you were able to enjoy delicious Sunday roasts in a warm atmosphere. We would like to thank you for your custom, review and praise and look forward to sharing your comments with the team.We hope to welcome you all back again soon,The Bosham Inn Team

We ate here on August 10th and the pub is still the best in the area. The pub was heaving as usual and I had the chicken Caesar salad and my husband had the steak. Both amazing and the service was fabulous and staff very efficient and friendly. Amazing.

Superb. Cannot fault the location, the food, the service or the beers. First visit coincided with the pie night. Good range including Rabbit and Bacon, Chicken and Wild Mushroom, Steak, Ale and Mushroom, etc. including a Spinach and Ricotta vegetarian option. The pasty was excellent, and these were full pies, base, sides and top and not just a pastry topping to a dish. Fillings were full and tasty and came with veg (well cooked) and chips or mash and gravy. Combined with a glass of wine or a pint of Flower Pots Bitter (or pilsner or soft drink) and all for a tenner. Portion sizes were also good. Desserts were massive and real quality. Service was very good, very personable bar and waiting on staff who were run off their feet with the pub being full from early doors. Dog friendly. Marvellous place, cannot fault The Anchor Bleu. Spot on.

The Berkeley Arms is a great pub in the heart of Bosham. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the local people of Bosham are always happy to include visitors into their cheerful circle. In summer, the beautiful garden in front of the pub provides
Very friendly welcome and good service. Starters are huge which isnât always s good thing as we didnât have room for our mains. We had pie for mains which were very tasty. Nice chocolate eggs served with the bill which is a nice touch. The place wasnât very busy but it was a Monday night.Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, it is very much appreciated. I am pleased you enjoyed your meals, apologies if you found the starters too big, we will take this feedback on board. I hope we get the opportunity to welcome you back here again in the future.

Facebook messaged twice and the messages were 'seen' by 'The White Swan' (1st message 12th June, follow up 17th June) - NO REPLY OR COURTESY AT ALL. I stated that I wanted to organise a group lunch for Golden Wedding Anniversary celebrations, NO REPLY, silence....v disappointing and no customer care at all. We are taking our business elsewhere and gave the staff ample opportunity to reply.
