We had a recent birthday party with 10 people at NYBP. While we couldn't make reservations we were still seated in a reasonable amount of time. The menu is large enough to accommodate everyone's diets! Service was prompt, friendly and patient. Everyone enjoyed their meals and will return to NYBP.

We were on Main st. in Canandaigua on a Friday nite headed for a different spot when we passed Eddie O'Briens and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. Wife ordered the fish fry, at $15 it was a bit pricey. It was quite good except for the coleslaw. While not as bad as Tom Wahls it was in the bottom 3rd of our experience. I ordered the Cubano which was loaded and quite good. Our server was very attentive bringing xtra napkins and keeping our glasses full. We WILL be back.

I will tell you how bad it was! It was called the Hawaiin Burger. Pineapple topped with Swiss Cheese on top of black forest ham on top of the beef burger on a fresh bun. It was so bad I thought about it all night and came back for another one the next day. My buddy had one as well and on our drive back home both of us were contemplating going back and getting a few for the road but we had to get back for work the next day. Adding to this the service by a young lady I unfortunately can't remember her name but she didn't work on the Sunday when we returned for a repeat. She was about the best waitress we have ever had as bad joke golfers go which coincide with our equally pathetic golf in some of the best courses in the world in this area. Great place to go for friendly and burgers. I will return next time for sure. All the best to the friendly staff.

We came for a fish fry and arrived on Friday at 5:15. Were promptly taken to a table but we asked about a booth (there were 2 empty) but were told they were reserved for guests arriving at 5:45 and 6:30!. We grudgingly sat at the table, knowing with certainty that we could have sat at a booth. While eating noticed an occupied booth emptied out at 5:35. So basically, there was no reason not to seat us at a booth! We also noted that another couple were denied booth seating just after we arrived. The hosts need to better manage seating! But the food was good and so was the service. We had been there several times before this.

A dive bar, pure and simple, and it could be so much more. The main area features some interesting decor (mostly stuffed animals) and a pool table, and used to feature live music. Wings are decent but not great. The high point? The ladies room is actually quite nice, and in direct contrast to your initial impression. Bar stools need to be replaced, they are either wobbly or suffering from torn vinyl. Beer is cheap (there's a plus!) but not many options. Expect to breathe in a number of not-so-pleasant odors - residual cigarettes, stale beer, and YES, the fryer is within eye shot of the main bar. Seriously, who does that? But, if you're looking for hanging with the locals (biker dudes and babes included) this might be a great choice.

Cheap Charlie's looks much nicer on the inside, and the food is great. Our group tried several of the specials of the day, and they were all very tasty and plentiful. Our waitress was new that day, but handled everything well. The inside looks like it has recently been remodeled, very clean and nice.

Stopped here with the wife and two kids yesterday after driving around on Mother's Day. They make their own beer but also carry several other craft brews along with Genny Light. Pub style food. Burger was very good. Good option for Bloomfield. Lot's of space and tons of TV's to watch a game.
