First time that i have stayed in a Travelodge since the recent upgrades. What a fantastic improvement. We were joining my daughter and a group of young swimmers and although we had booked separately, at my daughter's request they arranged for us to have adjoining rooms, Typical of the service from the friendly smiling staff. Breakfast was textbook hotel, but who invented those horrible toasters and then seemed to have sold them to every hotel in the world? You know the one I mean. Put the bread through once and its white, twice and its black. Rooms and breakfast were very cheap, but bar and restaurant seemed expensive compared to England, but this is Dublin.Chose this because of position, as I had been using competitors for some time, but Travelodge is now back on my shopping list.

I cannot praise this place enough. We were staying in a nearby hotel and were recommended trying this pub for dinner. Absolutely everything was first class. The menu is very varied, staff very friendly and attentive, beautiful food and great service. I would recommend anyone to try this place. I would safely say the service we received was up there with the best we have ever had anywhere in the world. Well done folks, keep up the good work. We will be back.

Went here for a sandwich with the family. We were waiting a long time before receiving them. When we did they were basic toastie sandwiches nothing special. Wasn't overly impressed. The main dinners are amazing here I can't fault that but to be charged â¬25 for 3 toasties and 3 drinks is a little too much.... We eat here often as the food is wonderful. Service excellent and a location to die for! We will return as it still delivers great cuisine at a great price. The place is Now very busy at the weekend but they do squeeze you in somewhere.

In a fine spacious eatery, carvery lunch is very popular. Divided into cosy dining areas, there are much dark wood features that are quite attractive.A good choice defines the carvery and we opted for the turkey and beef with lots of vegetables. Follow up was dessert comprising two cheesecake flavours. All very tasty.Staff were great, cheerful, jocular and attentive. On the walls inspiring aphorisms are to cogitated on. All things considered it was a grand break.

First visit here for drinks & itâs a lovely little find. Slightly off the beaten track but well worth it. Car park located just opposite the bar. Bar was still fully decorated with Christmas dec. Bar accepts cash only, no cards accepted. Music session started & all musicians were so talented. Illen pipes, guitars & tin whistle, a lovely session of traditional Irish music along with some regulars taking to the mic throwing out songs from The Coronaâs. Staff were very friendly & chatty. A lovely atmosphere & will certainly return.

I enjoyed my evenings at this bar. It is a diamond in the rough b/c the hotel is not great. Karen served a fine Guinness and was very helpful to offer whisky selections. Give it a try.

Visited Bradyâs Castleknock today and it was very good as usual. It has lots of free parking too. The surroundings are nice and comfortable and itâs child friendly. They offer a good choice of meals, sandwiches and snacks. Tea coffee and alcoholic beverages are available. Itâs a good place to visit for food.

My husband and i had a beautiful 3 course meal with tea or coffee. The food was absolutely gorgeous the best iv had in a long time and unbelievably great value. Fantastic choice starters and mains. Lenny the manager really lovely friendly guy. The service was excellant as were the staff.could not fault this restaurant in any way. Definately will return and highly recomend.
