Our friends group had a nice lunch experience at Rock Bottom Brewery in the heart of Bethesda, MD. Server Kendra and other staff were attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the tasty Salmon and strawberry salad. It was served fresh and cold. The salmon was very nicely prepared although I wish the fish serving would have been a bit larger at a price of +15.00 for the salad.

Being a Platinum Elite Marriott loyalty member I've stayed at many Marriott properties US and overseas but NEVER have I encountered a hotel infested with gnats/small bugs in the dining areas! It is so disheartening to go to the restaurant and bar area and see customer's sitting with napkins over their drinks and swatting gnats away! These bugs are also in the lovely "M" club area. I've eaten breakfast at the M club every morning for a week and despite being away from the restaurant area those nasty bugs still make their way in the M club. Also, other than breakfast the food in the restaurant is not up to the Marriott quality. From the flatbreads to simple dishes such as chicken tenders the food is pretty disgusting. The next time I am in the Washington DC area I will stay at a different hotel.

The pub atmosphere and decor are well done, including the Christmas decorations. The Guinness and Smithwicks drafts are on point. Service is efficient and friendly by DMV standards. Food is okay but not great. There was a cover charge for the Sunday night band. We were going to stick around to check them out, but they took too long setting up. Would come back to drink good beer in a cozy pub, but I'm not going to rush back to eat here again.

Had visited Tyber Bierhaus for dinner while in Bethesda. Had a seat at the bar and was noticed immediately. Unfortunately their beer selection was a bit limited for my tastes, so I just had one beer with my dinner. Dinner was the sausage appetizer, which was decent if not particularly memorable. The menu does offer a lot more and will visit again in Bethesda to try a larger meal.

public parking right next door was a big plus. service was fast and friendly. Good selection of beer and one of the better burgers I've had in a long time. If I lived closer to it, I would be there all the time
