Food was good, and the revamp is nice enough, but if you want dinner probably best ordering it about lunchtime. Theyâd also pretty much run out of everything so no eggs, no fish, no banoffe pie. I was on my third pint by the time the main course arrived. Staff are very nice though.

Our new extended restaurant has a country inn feel and vibrant contemporary touches. With a fresh new menu, relaxed atmosphere and excellent service, the West Port is one of the best places to eat in Linlithgow.
Great choices on lunch menu available mon-fri £6 main courses , the food was delicious we all had smothered chicken. Very tasty, food hot and portions just right. We then had baileys profiteroles/ sticky toffee pudding. They too were delicious Thankyou to Jiselle & Louise for the great friendly service.Certainly be back Thank you for taking the time to review us at the West Port. The lunch menu really is great value isn't it, £6 for a main course... no scrimping on portions either! I'm glad you had such a nice time, Louise and Jiselle really are wonderful, I shall pass on your lovely comments to them. We look forward to welcoming you back and thanks again !

Total disgrace! Phoned to book a table for 18 for a family gathering with 7 children included. They were having trouble getting their heads around the numbers and I was trying to help them work out tables. Then I was told they were refusing my booking! I was told they think weâre going to come and cause trouble!! Was it my Glaswegian accent? Totally dumbfounded and disgusted at this treatment for absolutely no reason! The Manager has issues and needs to learn some lessons on customer service not to mention productivity for his takings! Beggars belief!!Many thanks for taking the time to review The Livingston Inn.Itâs a shame that you forgot to mention that you choose to insult our member of staff before we cancelled your booking!!Many people that know our business know how helpful and friendly our staff are - as you can see by many comments before and many guests that continue to return! As mentioned via email we where happy to discuss this further, one business owner to another, but again you choose to insult us!!Again many thanks for taking the time to review our business, have a lovely Easter RegardsLivingston Inn

went here on tuesday evening 15/10/2019 and have to say the service was terrible.Table was booked for 8.15. Upon arrival we waited over 10 minutes for someone to tripping her.Got drinks order taken right away then waited around 30 minutes before food order was taken. To cut a long story short it took around 2 hours just to have the starter and main. I then had to ask someone for dessert menu and they never came back to take the order. Then had to ask someone else if we could order desserts. The restaurant was not busy so no excuse for poor service. Will not go back here. The food was good but a few things were cold as it had clearly been sitting for a while.even come and show us to our table and there was a gentleman in front of us who had waited longer. No Appology just what seemling like a manager with her face

Welcome to the Toby Carvery Bathgate Farm. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings - including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those
Visited with my Daughter for Breakfast. Bacon like leather, fried eggs with hard yolks, potato scones were dry and like cardboard. No link sausages ready so took a lorne, again, all dried up and hard. Other people complained and food was removed and eventually replaced by manager. For a major restaurant chain, you would think they would know how to cook breakfast items! The two stars are for the mushrooms which were lovely and the tomatoes!Wonât be back. Audbod265, we're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our location. If you are willing to give us another chance, please reach out to us at 01506 633573 to speak to our manager directly.

How can a small village have so much singing, dancing and musical talent? My bus tour group had an unforgettable and moving experience last night at this little inn in a small Scottish village. We learned about Scottish history and culture through performances carried out by the local people living here. Our host, Ken, and his staff made us feel at home with their kindness and generosity. World's best haggis by the way. The piping in of the haggis was unforgettable too. What a fabulous review - thank you. It was our pleasure to have you here in our historic village of Torphicen and we are thrilled to hear you loved our show and haggis!
