Things to do in Bamburi
We eat a great fish BBQ with lobster, octopus and cuttlefish. The place is really nice, located in a small road just behind Bamburi beach, owned by a local guy that is really friendly (he speaks fluently English German and Italian). You must book the day before because they buy the fresh fishes just in time!

Had a very bad experience with the food. Ordered the most simplest food, CHIPS, and they even managed to spoil that.Never eaten such bad chips in my life ever. Such big cuts like wedges and burnt and full of oil bubbles. They refused to lend us a bottle of chilli sauce in the apartments.Location is beautiful by the beach. Small play area for kids. Bar service is excellent.

Few hundred meters after you've passed the bridge in Mtwapa you find Casuarinha on the right hand side. It's a good choice for drinking, socializing and dancing. If you're hungry you can also get food here, even though food is not the main issue here. The atmosphere is good and vibe is getting on when it starts to get crowdy after 11 pm and further on. The place attracts kenyans and mzungos(white people). After Tembo was closed some years ago Casuarinha took over as the number one place when in comes to nightlife in the area.

It's a rubbish spot with boring seating & poorly positioned televisions. Would have been alright...but then you realize the staff are deceptive, try to take advantage of you once the night has gone on, then have rude security men backing them up.Just honestly go to the place next door and pay their entrance fee. Much more organised and honest (and client-oriented). Forget this egotistic bar.

Maasai Bars and Restaurants is known for its mouth watering nyama choma and african cuisine.we also have a bar at the beach which prides itself as a house of sea food.wide variety of drinks are sold in the bar.
My family of 5 had dinner here in late July 2019. Itâs an attractive upscale dinner location - outside dining, 70s/80âs disco music, pool tables. The food is quite good and inexpensive ($6-12) per main. We ordered 4 dishes and had leftovers. But the service was terrible. We had more than a 1 hour wait after we ordered. The waitress brought silverware for 2 with the food. She had to be asked twice for plates. The number of requests spurred a visit from the manager, who wanted to make sure we liked the food and didnât appear concerned about the service issues. And although she packed the leftovers up nicely, when I gave the waitress 4000 for the 3850 bill, she went to get change and didnât return for 10 minutes, so I left. Bottom line: be patient, and hope for better service.
Specialized in preparing all types of grilled food â seafood, other meats and vegetarian, the alluring ocean views and the gentle sounds of the surf further complements the seafood menu at this Arabian Swahili dhow-themed restaurant. Enjoy an array of foo
The seafood offer is sumptuous, the service is great and the ambiance is very soothing. The view of the sea is great from the upper deck as the restaurant is right by the sea. This is a place for those of us who are particular about our seafood.

Quiet place perhaps overhauled by its younger neighbours.Pleasant enough for old people (wazees) but the younger set would much prefer the Anuba,Hypnotique etc.The beer is cold, the 80s tunes are nice and one could relax quietly here. The location is certainly very good too.

Great place to relax, they show sports on a lot of different screens. So pick your game and sit down in that section of the bar. The food is mediocre, although I had an African Beef Stew that was delicious. The following chapati was fresh and tasteful. One of the best chapatis I've had in Kenya. Worth a visit.

10 Street - Ten Meals One Way >> 10 Street is Mombasa's newest fast food restaurant in the heart of Nyali. Mouth watering food fast!
I went to 10 Street for a quick bite of fish & chips, thought it wasn't thoroughly prepared and still a bit raw. I liked the interior, the street art on the walls, the music and the friendly service. What I didn't like were the 10+ flies at my table hoping to join my lunch.
