Reviews on Pub food in Aspen, Colorado, United States. Everyone knows Aspen as a top-notch winter resort town. But outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy it in the summer, too, when the mountains become a perfect setting for hiking, biking and horseback tours. Some may be surprised to find it’s a top romance destination—but after all that outdoor exercise, who wouldn’t want to repair to a luxurious hotel room or a cozy, firelit bar?
Things to do in Aspen
This is the new location for Aspen brewing and it is a much more updated and relaxing location than their last. The outdoor setting was great. The beer was good and the food was also good. Huge servings which is much appreciated. Our only issue was it took a while to actually get a servers attention, though we think they may have been understaffed for how many people were sitting outside.

We hosted our daughters rehersal dinner in this awesome location. We had 150 people and they did everything right. With a group of this size, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the food. The BBQ beef was outstanding. The views, location, service, and food were superb. They left no stone unturned. Excellent to work with and made everything run smoothly.
Shadow Mountain Lounge is by far a top notch experience. My photos have friends/family wanting to visit. The staff, atmosphere, decor and music was exceptional. I would highly recommend Shadow Mountain Lounge to anyone looking for an elegant yet family-friendly atmosphere with exceptional staff/service/food and music.

A favorite of locals and guests alike, Jing (formerly Asie) features a unique menu of modern Asian fusion, contemporary sushi and sashimi, and raw bar. Fresh ingredients, creative cuisine that inspires warmth and happiness, and an inviting atmosphere deli
Tasty, with an extensive menu, but perhaps a bit too popular? As the evening got busier, the service definitely waned. The food was flavorful, and more than enough to share. We are glad that you enjoyed some of the menu items that we have. Aspen can be a difficult place to staff accordingly. We do the best we can to make sure we are prepared for the evening and reservations. Sometimes we are a little understaff based on walk in business. We will work on making sure we more correctly staffed.

The pony-tailed, goateed gentlemen at the door are extremely rude and confused. When I arrived, they immediately turned me away, claiming that I had already been there previously that evening and for whatever reason was not allowed in. I had not been there in months. They then stated that I was "too white" to come inside, obviously screwing around with me at that point as they thought I was someone else. I rarely go out in aspen but I am a lifelong local and this is the most unwelcoming and incongruous experience I have ever had at any Aspen venue. I work locally in guest services and I can safely say that I will no longer recommend Eric's Bar. Not only did the doormen completely mistake me for a different customer, they chided and derided me unnecessarily with the outrageous claim that I was unwelcome due to exodermatic pigmentation.

Kicking it in the heart of Aspen and you should definitely join us. One of Aspen's few remaining family-accessible restaurants, Ryno's serves pizza and creative, modern pub food using fresh, local, Colorado ingredients. Almost everything is made in-house.
My family stopped in Aspen en route to Glennwood Springs for a lunch break. We stumbled upon this place by chance, and we were glad we did! The (upper) outdoor patio was great for people-watching and provided great views of the mountain slopes. I enjoyed the MTO guac and the Tortilla Soup. The food was fresh and the workers were very friendly and efficient.

Truly the most classy place, that also feels like youâre in the West, where you can have a drink or a lite bite...in Aspen! Sure Little Nell is elegant in a euro-modern sorta way...but it is not a quintessential âwesternâ place. We feel the Hotel Jerome gives you the feel of a totally different experience which is what we were looking to enjoy! If you are in Aspen at the very least check out The Living Room....you can imagine that Ralph Lauren was commissioned to do the decor...itâs western class personified!

Emily server was super friendly and efficient. Ate lunch last day in Aspen before flight home on recommendation of our resort driver. Location downstairs off the beaten path. Sandwiches good decent variety, pricey but typical for aspen. Less expensive than some. Bathroom clean and well maintained. Likely will visit next trip

Hops Culture is an exciting new craft-beer focused restaurant-bar on Aspen's historic Hyman Mall. We feature over 200 domestic and imported craft beers (30 on tap!), 15 World-class wines by the glass, and an upscale American comfort food menu focused on g
We were able to snag a table outside with only a short wait which was appreciated since we had a dog. Service was good as were the different beers our group of five tried. We enjoyed the hamburger, cobb salad and cubana.

Original building and bar from 1892 in the heart of Aspen on the mall.
The Red Onion is actually an historic institution, going way back to the mining days. It has had numerous owners and incarnations. We stopped by to grab a long-overdue mid-afternoon meal, having missed lunch due to travel. We were pleasantly surprised by the down-to-earth but high-quality meals. Incidentally, we shared dishes because the portions were so big. I'd recommend it if you don't want an ultra-chic Aspen dig.
