This little restaurant is a good option for quick and reasonably priced dinner in Amiens. The menu is very simple and quite affordable. We chose a burger and an entrecote - both were very sizeable meals and we didn't any entrees or dessert. The waiter was really friendly and the other patrons appeared to be locals.

Can't fault the place. So close to the centre of Amiens, so close to the cathedral and now so close to perfection when you want some where to have lunch that's not expensive, not pretentious and with excellent service. My tarte flammbe was wonderful, as was the desert and my two friends were equally pleased with their food. You realise you've made the right choice when there's a queue for a table at lunchtime and it's all local people and no other tourists.

We dined at La Graineterie during a recent stay in Amiens to commemorate the 100th anniversary of our grandfather's US military service in the Somme. The owners, a lovely married couple, were delightful and prepared a large, tasty charcuterie board for us, even though it was their chef's night off and the kitchen was closed. We sat outdoors enjoying a feast of meats, pates, cheeses, bread, and a perfectly paired wine!
