My husband and I couldn't decide which place to eat at in Alex Bay but the beer special got us into The Spot..! We enjoyed a beer or two but also really enjoyed our meal. My husband had a chicken panini type sandwich which he really enjoyed. Good flavor- nice bread. He ordered with French fries which were also tasty. I don't eat meat so not a lot of options but was very pleased with my order--- a salad topped pizza! I love salads but could also use a little something with it so this was perfect! The salad was fresh mixed lettuce blends with tomatoes, onion and a balsamic type dressing. Great pizza crust as well! Thoroughly enjoyed meals by both of us!Service really good--- attentive and friendly staff!
Always free peanuts 3 dollar beers, great band on Saturday night.Single musician playing on Sunday afternoon and everyone in the place was having a real good time, if you know what I mean. Also seen 3 beautiful blondes, one with the sexiest green dress you'll ever want to see. Thee party place in Alex Bay.

We met up with old friends at the Bonnie Castle and spent our evening in the Riverside Sports Bar. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed their wings. The drinks were great and reasonably priced. There was a band playing (sorry don't remember their name) that was great and we spent the evening on and off the dance floor.

We were on a sea kayaking trip in the Thousand Islands and doing the tourist thing in Alexandria Bay. My friend is a BBQ enthusiast, so we ate here at lunch on a lazy weekday. Sat on the outside dock and watched the boats come and go. Beer was good and the food was fine, although not up to Southern standards.

I go get fancy and use alot of words for this review but I'll keep it short and simple. Service...abysmal, burgers...abysmal, tap beer...Flat and warm, restroom (male)...like one on a 19th-century slave ship..abysmal. All in all, I have no idea how I didn't end up in a hospital after eating in this place.

As we do every year when we're up for the River Run we headed to Skiffs for a few adult beverages. Obviously with the amount of people that frequent this establishment they're doing something right. It's always packed with the crowd spilling out onto the sidewalk. This is just a friendly, fun bar that's always hoppin.

We did not eat here, but bellied up to the bar for a drink and celebration. The town was gearing up for a long winter's nap, and the taps were being drained. The atmosphere was celebratory, the bar tenders knowledgeable about their beer, the town and the music. The place seemed somewhat understaffed, but those who were working made efforts to keep everyone happy. The musicians were just setting up- we saw crowds there later in the evening- younger than myself.

Operated for 20 years as a Public Aquarium, the Roberts family has entirely redone the interior of their building to accommodate the dining public. Dinner, Children's menu and Pub fare available along with a full bar. 10 craft beers on tap. With 11 large
Went on a Friday evening for a fish fry. The place was about 1/3 capacity which should have alerted us. The place is clean with near fish tanks wrapping around the interior. The clam chowder was homemade but tasteless. The haddock fish fry was by far the worst Iâve ever had. I still cannot understand how any cook could screw it up so badly. It was like a sponge that had been soaked in warm oil and the middle was mushy and not cooked through. My partner had a Mexican loaded fries plate which was equally unappealing. We paid for half the meal and left never to return. How any owner could allow food like this to come out of a kitchen is beyond explanation. We really did want to like this place and support a local establishment but they did everything possible to ensure we never return.

I believe this is/was also Colemanâs Smokehouse but the 2 places combined (???). Anyway.. We stopped on a Saturday night around 6:30 and got right in. Typical touristy spot but that is what you get on the main drag of Alexandria Bay. Nice view to watch the boats pull in and take off. The place didnât seem to be overly busy and there were plenty of servers. Our server, while very friendly, gave us slow service. Between the five of us we ordered the ribs, pulled pork flatbread, little neck clams, Cajun pasta, and a shepherds pie. Honestly I donât understand the negative reviews because all of the meals were pretty darn good. The portions were huge and we got a second meal out of it the next day. The barbecue is authentic. For those that complain about the mustard sauce on the barbecue, itâs a Carolina style sauce. Heavy on the mustard and vinegar. I thought it was good. I would go back.

It has 9 Yelp reviews. We ate there on Wed this week.
Forget trying to get served after 11pm if over 25 years old!!! Young blonde girl, threw menus at us, took drink order. 15 mins later never came back, was too worried about her drunk friends, I guess,to take our order . Random guy walking around without shoes or socks, but guess ok in Alex Bay. Needless to say, never ordered food, or got our drinks!!! Walked out never to return!!! Think management really needs to monitor their employees after 11!!! And we were recommended to go to this establishment by our resort hotel employee!!! Unbelievable for a vacation destination!!!
