7 of us had a whiskey tasting dinner. Fantastic. You wouldnât expect it from the main menu but if ever you get the chance- go for it. The chef is definitely skilled and well worth trying. Good wines by the bottle too - but do ask for a whiskey tasting if you can. Well recommended.

The Seven Stills is a small, family-run pub, lounge and bistro situated in the heart of the small Speyside town of Dufftown. The drinks include over 300 single malt whiskies, a wide range of Scottish gins, a selection of Scottish vodkas, craft beers and c
This restaurant/pub is a gem. We had not booked, arrived at 6pm, and were seated promptly. We were astounded by the selection of whiskies, and thoroughly enjoyed our own tasting session, along with our dinner. The food was phenomenal. We reminisced on all the dinners we have had on our trips in the past 6 months. This is certainly one of the best, if not THE best. We had our desserts in the lovely cosy sitting area (along with two other guests who we had met on one of our distillery tours). We may need to visit Dufftown, just to eat here again.

Was recommended by a local, a party of four, upon reading the menu I thought theyâd given us the wrong one , probably a reasonable choice for a lunch time, but well below a standard for an evening meal, so on deciding on the described traditional fish and chips, being a short distance from Petershead I assumed i was in for a treat, well if frozen chips, peas and fish are traditional at about £12.95, though a really nice tarter sauce was provided ( yea ) , this was without doubt the most lazy meal I have had in ten years, apparently three chefs who canât be stooping so low as to make proper food, pretentious and lazy, with a management who are obviously either not in control or not bothered how they get money, but never mine again. We are sorry we didn't meet your expectations.Thank you for taking the time to comment

Great tasting food, simply prepared yet full of flavour, made with locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Reasonable selection of beers, excellent selection of whiskey and an excellent stop for anyone walking the Speyside way. Try the Quaich bar upstairs too, phenominal selection of Scotch.
