Summer, evening, no reservation, 5 persons, all places are crowded and packed full.We made to sit on the open terrace outside, beutifull night, deep in the old town center. >Service was dedicated, friendly and menu wise.>Sangria was good, the starters were great. >I asked for the Dourada escalada - they open the fish in half. and glill it that way.>On the side side we had "Migas" - Beutifully cooked. Boiled new potatoes and salad. Not my fist time in this place - I keep comming because they are relaiable in Food Quality, service and price.

Food is great, with Great choices of tapas, friendly service, staff speak English, atmosphere is very convivial.....to avoid disappointment book your table on an evening at least one day before!.Andrea, is a great hostess and manages the team looking after guests....... Often live music is resonating around the old giant plane tree in the middle of the Praça.... Being accompanies by the hundreds of birds that gather in the tree!....

"In Sado" a peaceful vintage restaurante full of roots and traditions. Our food is served as tapas to invite the share and taste of the authentic Portuguese flavors. The desserts and ice creams are homemade and the wine cellar is from the local region. We
Visiting friends who chose this as our first dining experience in Setubal, knowing that we are foodies who like to get to know the local cuisine. Not disappointed.Sado is a little restaurant with a friendly staff that specialized in small plates. We quickly perused the menu and got a pitcher of the best red Sangria ever, tasty with apples and mint in the mix, We put in an order for about 8 items, and they began to arrive promptly.I was eager to trty migas, a traditional portuguese dis of mostly cabbage--it was OK, at least it got me some of my veggies. More memorable, stuffed mushroom caps. Chicken gizzards, good in a sweet sauce. Black Iberico pork--now that's good meat, served up with grilled pineapple. Cuttlefish--fabulous, flavor like calamari but in big, meaty slices that you can sink your teeth into.My initiation into Setubal's cuisin started quite well.

After being recommended by a local friend, we waited for more than an hour without having any explanation. If you are an outsider be careful as they treat locals and outsiders differently.

This restaurant simply does not disappoint if you want to enjoy succulent beef steak...choosing to cook them on hot stones pieces of Brazilian filet...melts in your mouth , with a selection of accopaniments, mayonnaise dip auces and fresh fruit and chips(crisp style) is a fabulous meal...and the House red is excellent value for money. My favourite meat restaurant in Setubal!!Muito obrigado pela preferência Até breve.

Concept of innovative tavern, where the gastronomy and traditional snacks of the city of Setúbal and the world are combined. Come taste our flavors on the most famous avenue of Sado land.
What a terrible service, we didnât even get to eat. Waited over 40 minutes with no hello no acknowledgement of us waiting, usually even if there is a waiting cue youâd get a hello & acknowledgement of you being there but nothing, there were 2 big tables that couldâve been separated to take 2 extra couples but nothing it was just wasted. Whilst waiting we observed the service to the tables were also slow. Can not attest to food but service wise not great.

Atmosphere: the waiters are really kind and mostly fast. The decoration is trendy and the view really great. You have enough parking space in front of the door. Starters: we had bread, good homemade butter and sweet potatoes. We also ordered scrambled eggs with farinheira. It all tasted really good. Main courses: we had the tuna filet with vegetables and the curry with cashew and mushrooms. It all had a good taste and was served really nice. Dessert: the mousse au chocolate was great and the cheesecake with red fruits tasted delicious.Price: the price was good for the quality you get...If we will stay in Setubal again we will return for sureDear customers. Our thanks for your visit and also for your comment.Cordial greetings
Cozy place with several roomswith vintage environments with wood oven and an outside space.
My first time on the place, already know the owner and the type of food. We made a birthday party in there. The food was very good and fast to serve, the staff is very nice. The only thing I was not so happy about was the price, we paid a lot for the things we ate. But overall is a very good place to dinner and stay until late...
