We heard this was great Portuguese food, however, our experiences was not great. The restaurant was crowded and noisy. We waited an HOUR to get our food, which was way too long for the children with us. We had to ask for water to be brought to the table. The food was marginal. We love Portuguese food, but this was over cooked and under seasoned. I will look elsewhere in the future.

We usually sit at the bar and eat. All of the bartenders are very nice. I love lobster and they always have it. The rolls and the dipping sauce is to die for!!! Their "cup of soup" is actually a bowl and practically a meal in its self. It reminds me of Sunday supper . The flan is pretty good too!

I had lunch yesterday with a friend at Riviera Inn. I hadn't been there in a few years and remembered how good the food was. I was disappointed with the experience that I had. First, the floor near our table was littered with used butter packages. This was not the most attractive thing to see when we were sitting down. Then, when we were ordering, the dish that I ordered (Chicken Mozambique) was supposed to come with rice and Portuguese-style potatoes. The waiter told me that there were no Portuguese-style potatoes because the restaurant had received a bad batch of them and didn't want to use them. He offered French fries instead, but I ultimately opted for a side of veggies because I didn't want fried food. When the food arrived, the rice and veggies were fine, but the chicken was kind of rubbery. It seems like it was cooked very quickly and not allowed to stew. I didn't finish it because I didn't like the texture and there was also some small pieces of fat on the chicken. Lastly, when we got the bill, the waiter had charged me $1 extra for the dish I ordered. I brought it to his attention and he told me that it was indeed a computer glitch, and promptly fixed the bill.Because of wall of these less-than-stellar things that happened during this visit, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.
Went here Saturday night and got seated right away. Server was attentive and friendly and we had good drinks. I had baked scrod with crumb topping that was delicious and roasted vegetable side. One of us had pork chops, one had scrod with shrimp and one had veal parmigiana. All of us loved our meals and said it was delicious. Nice loaf if bread served with butter. There are great choices on the menu so thereâs something for everyone. Good sized portions also. The tables for 4 are comfortable but they do have some high tops and a couple of booths in the lounge area. We definitely will be back .
