This is a small family restaurant at the end of the Sagres main road but what a find it was!Proper home made food with superb fresh ingredients. The owners and the grandchildren run this place like a top notch restaurant and the patrons love it as it fills up for both lunch and diner times.We had the Clam cataplana which may sound a bit touristy until you try it. Wonderful taste and generous helpings of clams, tiger prawns, bacon and pork loin and a side dish of potatoes. Certainly the best I've tasted in Portugal in over ten years.Prices are extremely reasonable, you aren't being ripped off here.

Busy evening in the restaurant and we felt lucky to get a table until we got the sardine pate as we got a miniscule shop bought tin of paste. Thankfully there was an improvement with the fish and rice despite closed clams and overcooked mussels. Overall a bit disappointing but nevertheless acceptable.

We ate here 4 times during our stay in Sagres. The location, staff and food were excellent. The âAnchovaâ (not to be confused with anchovies) is delicious. Grilled squid with basalmic sauce was excellent as was the sea bream and bass. Although this is principally a fish restaurant - it is on the beach about a mile from where the fish is landed - you can order omelettes and burgers but why would you? It would be like ordering an burger in a Chinese restaurant. Good selection of wines and beers combined with friendly service overseen by the owner Luis makes this a very good place to relax an enjoy good food and enjoy watching the windsurfers racing across the bay.

My partner and I ate here before watching the sun set over the Atlantic (another must). We were greeted by friendly, attentive staff who had a good knowledge of the menu and were able to provide recommendations based on our likes/dislikes. We ended up choosing the catch of the day which was trapper fish. We were presented with the fish as we'd never heard of it. Although the fish was very ugly, it tastes phenomenal and was meaty and filling. Our waiter was quick to assist us in serving the fish to maximise the amount of "meat" we could get from it which was immensely helpful. The fish was grilled and seasoned with oil and salt but it was perfection! We had the fish served with potatoes, veg and salad and the meal was so filling, we couldn't manage any dessert. This place is good value for money, delicious food and impeccable service. An absolute must if you're in the area!

Visited early evening with young kids. Fish simple but very fresh and grilled to perfection. Served with salad and great cooked vegetables and new potatoes.House wine tasted well and was almost for free. The tables outdoor are placed on a small square where the kids could run around without fear of cars which was great.

My wife ordered Sardines with where ok, and I ordered chicken. The chicken was very dry, hard and not very tasty. On top the french fries finale came 20 min after the Sardines & chicken where served, because the chef waiter took the french fries out of the hands of our waiter and gave them to other customers.

Restaurant located in Sagres. Great sea view. Enjoy a good meal on our sea-view terrace. We suggest Costa Vicentina seafood, Grilled Fresh Fish, Fresh Fish Cataplana, Fish Pasta and Monkfish Rice. For dessert enjoy an Almond Pie.

Stopped here for drinks and although the waitress seemed to be by herself and possibly not even open she made us cappuccinos. Very clean and the fish tank at the door is very impressive. Looked at the menu and food seemed reasonable priced. Good location on beach
