Ciros has been around for years and has a good reputation for Portuguese and Italian food. This is the first time I have been in many years and the food did not disappoint. Succulent prawns with peri peri sauce and good old fashioned hand cut crispy chips. The service left much to be desired with us having to wait 15 minutes just to place a drink order and then having to ask for knives and forks long after the food had arrived. We will be back just hope they can get the service up to match the quality of the food.

The good old Nandos, right in Sandton with the same service and taste. While Sandton has some amazing fine dining options with top of the world cuisines to taste, Nandos is a local franchise born south of Johannesburg and went around the world as one of the fastest growing Chicken franchise with a difference. The peri-peri lovers can have a nice drink and the good old peri peri chicken at Rivonia.

Great little restaurant tucked away in a small shopping centre.Recently refurbished with nice relaxing decor but completely functional.Food is Portuguese or Mozambique style with super seafood, chicken peri peri and such like. Staff are great and very attentive without being fussy and prices really reasonable, much cheaper than Sandton.Could not recommend more highly.

Good Portuguese cuisine in a German Club? Yes, it's true! The food is really good and the kitchen is run by a well known Portuguese restaurant. They also serve good traditional German food. The service is good, the restaurant in the club had a face lift and it is very pleasant and inviting - no longer the sterile county club. The outdoor seating is pleasant and it is an escape from the maddening crowd. We frequent the club monthly and I'm looking forward to try the various dishes on the menu!
