Went to this restaurant for dinner and ended up going back a week later for lunch! The atmosphere in this place when full is great. Tables are close together in a couple of rooms. Food is always flowing out of the kitchen along with large wooden jugs of red wine from their own vineyard which is especially good. We had skewers of beef, pork and shrimp, Alentejo black pork and grilled fish, all of which were excellent. Homemade French fries and migas accompanied the meal. Prior to that we had cheese, melon, ham, olives and fresh bread which are hard to resist along with the grilled chorizo and blood sausage. You definitely wonât leave this place hungry. The owners are working in the restaurant and are very friendly.

Traditional Portuguese restaurant. Plenty of wine, meat and fish dishes in a traditional kitchen. Located near the City of Ourem and Fatima.
Great food and service. The "sopa de cosido" is AMAZING, with great flavour. The meat was incredible as you see by the photos!

Located at 200 meters from the Shrine of Fátima, in the "new" Fátima's avenue. In a sober, relaxed and calm place, we provide you a meal where the traditional gastronomy keeps making delights to the palate. At Manhãs each customer is unique, and a pleasan
This restaurant is a great find in Fatima. It is just a 5 minute walk from the center of all the religious activities. The staff here is exceptional and we loved what our server recommended. Though Bacalhau is the ubiquitous dish everywhere you turn, we had the black pig and wild mushroom risotto. This was one of the nicest meals I have ever had and the server recommended a great Douro wine. After the meal the server offered us a great Porto which capped a very enjoyable dining experience. This a great restaurant for a nice quiet meal not far from the hassle and bustle near the religious shrine of Fatima

No primeiro
We are used to go to Tia Alice which is superb. We were enticed to go when seing the pictures with the modern décor. The restaurant is great. The best waiters. Good food as well. The restaurant is large with a lot of natural light, tables are well spaced giving the needed privacy. Deserts not good.

Visiting Fátima means also a visit to this acclaimed and unforgettable restaurant! Absolutely awesome! We were at "Tia Alice" last February and enjoyed every moment. A beautiful classic décor, great menu, fine wine selection and friendly service. We had codfish and shrimps "au gratin", an unusual and delicious combination. And one last remark: "Tia Alice" is sided by two important sites in the Marian cult: 1) "Paróquia de Fátima e dos Pastorinhos" - where the three little shepherds "Francisco", "Jacinta" and "Lúcia" were baptized; and 2) the local cemetery where they were formely buried. Don't miss "Tia Alice", or you might regret forever. Reservations are strongly recommended. Bon Appétit

Nice, friendly and cozy restaurant. Modern design. Pleasant environment. Open kitchen. Author's kitchen.
We arrived just as A Cave was opening for dinner at 7:00pm. Since the menus are written in Portuguese, the chef/host Angelo explained everything to us in English. He explained how each meal was prepared and suggested we try the Vinho Verde, which became a favorite wine while we were in Portugal. We really enjoyed the starter tray, and our dinners were extremely tasty and presented beautifully. The desserts, coconut and pear, were equally amazing. We were so impressed with Angelo who kept coming over to our table to check on us and answer any questions we had. We felt as though we had our own personal chef for the evening! It really was an outstanding experience - our best meal in Portugal!Thank you very much.It was a pleasure to serve you.

This was recommended by our wonderful host, whose favourite restaurant it is.The hostess Patricia, who speaks excellent English, was able to give us a choice of dining room (Azulejos walled with simpler table settings or crip white tablecloths with Louis chairs in a plain walled room), then navigate us through the Portuguese menu, which could otherwise have been a struggle. We had the standard cover (ham, octapus salad, olives and breads) plus honeyed goat's cheese, then monkfish kebabs with vegetable rice and prawn washed down with delicious Alentajo wine. This was followed by a fabulous desert of pineapple in an orange and cinnamon sauce and a caramel and almond cream. Then we finished it all off with the local sour cherry liqueur....The meal and service could not have been better, and the price was pleasantly fair. Fabulous and highly recommended.

Fatima/Ourem on the road, in the small town of São Sebastião, have at their disposal a restaurant with summer terrace and rustico style private car park. Here you can savour a cod LAGAREIRO STYLE w/RED PEPPER, BROTH PRAWN in BREAD, rice or SEAFOOD ANGLERF
We had the best restaurant experience since our 10 days in Portugal. Words cannot describe the level of service and quality of food that we received. Absolutely amazing. The grilled sea bass as a whole fish done at the back of the restaurant on a charcoal grill was to die for and fed the four of us. We also added a veal steak done in a hot stone at our table so we could cook the way we wanted. The steak was excellent and shared by all four of us. The sides were plentiful with lots of variety. The fresh tomato salad was the best. The whole family touches you from the time you get there to the time you leave. Mom is the chef. English is not an issue as the family understands and speaks well. Also, the wine was excellent as selected by Pedro who was one of our servers. Daughter, Estrellah was super conscientious and made us feel so welcome. The cost was very affordable as we dined with locals. We felt we had a family meal in our own house. I cannot say enough. Highly recommended. Five stars!!! Also, we took a taxi from the Pousada and it was a short 10 minute drive. Everyone still talking this morning about the epic experience.
