The staff enthusiastically found us a table, encouraged us to try one of the specialty dishesâ we ordered the garlic shrimp to start with, and the grilled chicken and drunken steak for mains. Yesâ it was way too much food, but with the Sangria and very cold water, the price was half of a hotel meal! We didnât see a taxi when we walked out, but the hostess called one and it came in 10 minutes, which we passed in the lovely bar under the trees. A memorable night!

This little café serves many breakfast specialties. With its central location, Ou Mun is a perfect place to start your day.
Oh Mun is a casual restaurant onTravessa de Domingoes just below Cathedral Square. This is a good place for Portuguese lunch while sightseeing around Senado Square. Opening hours are 10pm to 9pm daily. Seating area is traditional. Staff are friendly and can help with ordering if you are not familiar with Portuguese cuisine. Menu includes caldo soup, chorizo, duck rice, cod fillet and bacalhau (fish) balls, suckling pig, steak and fries, seafood rice, egg pudding, serradura and other traditional Portuguese dishes. They have sangria, Portuguese wine & beer. Location is very convenient for those sightseeing in the area and service relatively fast during peak times. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed and spend time to learn about our menu. We hope to see you again!

Came to this restaurant based on a recommendation of a friend, and we definitely did not regret it. Service was beyond excellent, atmosphere and food were great. Price was a little on the higher end, but this was easily one of the most enjoyable meals we had on our entire trip. Will recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a nice, homely Portuguese meal.Hi shar_leen03,Thank you for spending the time to review us here on TripAdvisor, we really appreciate your feedback and comments and we're really glad you enjoyed our service, atmosphere and food. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back on your next visit to Macau!Sincerely,Portugália Macau

In this restaurant, the dining experience is elevated by the sumptuous environment (if I am not wrong, a mild dress code is strictly enforced at the place). The location is superb, right in the back of Grand Lisboa, and very close to the iconic Senate Square/St. Paul's Ruins. The dishes have the fine Portuguese stamp, and they are accompanied by a nice wine list. Enjoy the starters and, if possible, go for the fish. Try the salmon or the bacalhau (codfish)!

A Petisqueira is one of the most authentic Portuguese restaurants in Macau. This is a place that you've had to reserve in advance if dining at on weekends for quite a few years now. However, we were recently in Taipa and noticed that they are opening earlier (12pm) for lunch service and that a few tables were available. So we took opportunity to have lunch at one of my favourite places in Taipa. Staff were friendly and polite as usual. Service was timely and food was very good as expected. On the occasion we had Pastéis de Bacalhau (codfish balls) which is a serving of three pieces. These tasted just fine. Plenty of cod flakes, filling was good. We also had chorizo assado. The sausage had been flambed nicely, giving a slight taste of char. Served with a bit of pickled carrot and onion to give balancing flavour, this was a very good chorizo starter. For main, we shared the grilled sea bass served whole. The meat was grilled nicely - flaky, soft and very flavourful. Served with boiled potatoes, we really enjoyed the fish. Opted against dessert knowing we had a big dinner lined up for later on. Have enjoyed serradura in the past, its a good dessert choice here. In the end, we much enjoyed our recent lunch at A Petisqueira. This is an easy restaurant to recommend for visitors wanting to dine in Taipa Village.

Mariazinha is a genuine Portuguese Cuisine Restaurant. It is a family business located in the heart of Macau. You will enjoy the most traditional tastes of Portugal after visiting the most popular Macau sight, the St. Paul's Ruins. Vacations 2019: We will
It is the third time I come to Macau. I usually go to the same places because I don't like to have surprises. This time around one of usual places was disappointing and thus we decided to visit A Mariazinha. Overall it was a great experience. The steak was really good and the presentation was nice. The wine list offers many choices but we went with the Port. The Bolinhos de Bacalhau were tasty. The desert was awesome! Super Bock was available so I was a happy man! The waitresses were Filipino but they understood the Portuguese names on the menu. The service was very pleasant. The owner seemed reserved but pleasant. He did not speak to us during our stay but greeted us when we left. I do believe the prices were a bit steep but other than that we had a great experience. If we are ever in Macau again we will probably return to this restaurant.

The Educational Restaurant at the Institute for Tourism Studies, Macao is a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand rated restaurant and awarded "2017 Certificate of Excellence Award" by TripAdvisor.
Went to Macau for a special birthday dinner, and we all loved the IFT Educational Restaurant. It was midweek, so not full. Even when all tables are full, the restaurant is quite spacious and nicely fitted out -- you don't have the crammed-together feeling that so many places in HK generate. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our table. The staff at this restaurant are really committed to giving their patrons a world-class dining experience. Of course, the staff is made up of the trainers, and the trainees -- the latter category are students who are learning the ropes. So you have to be prepared for the occasional glitch (in our case it was a broken-off cork in a wine bottle). But the trainers are there to remedy any problems and they are really smooth (and by the way completely fluent in several languages, including English). And the wonderful thing about a training restaurant is that everyone is focused on trying really really hard to show you a Michelin-star-level dining experience, just because they want to make it great. And the food is wonderful!! We had the tasting menu and it was amazing. The best meal I've had in Asia in a year! Just like the best restaurants in France or Spain, the portion sizes are moderate and it is all about exploring wonderful, complex flavors and textures in the food. There were about six different courses. And the price was quite reasonable. The wine list is all Portuguese wines, and it was quite extensive, with a range of options and prices to suit all palates and budgets. The waiter/trainer who was helping us gave us outstanding advice on reasonably-priced bottles that beautifully complemented the tasting menu. All in all, it was a world-class dining experience and excellent value for money. I would warmly recommend it to all visitors to Macau who want to explore the city's culinary culture -- where West meets East. P.S. In getting to the restaurant, beware of Google Maps driving instructions. The restaurant is at the very top of the Mong-Ha hill, and if you (or your taxi driver) are being told to drive right up to the hill on "Patio do Cel. Mezquita", you will find the IFT buildings inaccessible, looming over you. You need to find the "Rampa do Forte de Mong Ha" and go all the way up it, to the top.

A friend reunion gathering of 12, we picked Chiado by a repeated friendâs recommendation. I made a pre-call to check with the fastest way to the restaurant (since it is located in the huge complex Sands Cotai Central, and I am usually not good at direction....), the gentleman who answered my call was very helpful and professional, with my big compliments yet sorry I didnât catch his name. The whole dining experience was mainly took care by Phia, she was super! Very detail oriented with professional explanation of each dish. Their manager Joao approached our table to check with our satisfaction, followed by his question âwhatâs your favorite dishâ, my é£å¼ is the Braised seafood rice with lobster, the Piri piri spicy sauce was a PERFECT match which brings the dish to another level. Highly recommended!! Another thumbs up to their Foie Gras Grelhado (Michelin item if not mistaken????). Also appreciation goes to their beverage manager Xino, gave a lot of helpful suggestions. Besides the delicious food, we enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere as well, enlivened by the well-chosen music, nice! By the end of the dinner, we got a surprise from the extraordinary team singing a Portuguese birthday song presented to our two birthday babies. Obligada! Looking forward to another celebration in this restaurant soon.Dear Chan_09_04,Greeting from CHIADO.Thank you for your preference and support to Chiado! It is extremely gratifying to know that we have exceeded your expectations, as your compliments are extremely encouraging to all of us that are here to serve you. Looking forward welcoming you again. Obrigado,Restaurant ManagerJoao. Chaves

Casa do Porco Preto by Galveense offers a unique farm-to-table dining experience, serving freshly made orders of genuine recipes with healthy and high quality ingredients, imported from thousands of kilometers directly from the Rodrigues' farm which has m
well located near a city landmark the A-Ma Temple, this little jewel is yet to be discovered. maybe because they are very low key and happy with the business volume, truth is their portuguese specialties are well worth trying: salted cod, black pork just to name a couple. The operator has family ties back in Portugal from where he imports directly and serves at the table.Even their triangular bread is one of the best, just like in Portugal.
