Beirao is located in Dommeldange and they are proposing a Portuguese cuisine. Their menu variates from different choices of meats, fishes and also vegetables dishes. The location is not a fancy one, decoration is rather simple and basic, their focus is driven on the quality and freshness of the food they are proposing. I opted for the grilled octopus to start followed by the grilled tuna with vegetables and rice. Portions are big and so are the sides, food is genuinely tasty, fresh and well grilled (the octopus was very tender), seasoned with only oil and a pinch of salt. The only small negative points were the spinach, they were certainly frozen and tasteless. Staff is warm, friendly and attentive. Prices are in line with the quality and the freshness of the products. I will certainly come back and I recommend this place if you like this type of cuisine.

Looking for a warm drink on a cold Sunday and found this place. Close to the Pfenffenthal lift. Ended staying for a quick lunch. Food was great and the Madeira garlic butter bread excellent. Service was good and extensive menu. Would recommend.

We emailed Alberto from Miami since we were going to spend New Year's Eve in Luxembourg and it is not easy to find a restaurant with availability on the 31st of December. He promptly answered and said that he would reserve a table for 3 people (my wife, daughter and me) at 9:30 p.m., and he certainly fulfilled his promise. The appetizers, dishes and attention were all superb. The food is made from scratch with a delicious taste and an excellent quality of products. My wife had the beef, mu daughter had the lamb and I had their awesome codfish, how great!!! We drank wine and beer and also had dessert, everything was optimum. The service was outstanding: the Portuguese waiter that took care of us throughout the whole time was very pleasant, professional and friendly. He worked non-stop all night in order to satisfy everyone and make every single person happy and well served. We would like to sincerely congratulate him, the owner, the Chef and all of them for such a beautiful dinner in which we felt just like family. After we finished eating (at about 11:45 P.M.) we went out to Place de Guillaume (300 meters away from the restaurant) and celebrated the beginning of the new year with Champagne, music, fire works, a very nice skating rink surrounded by lots of booths full of food, drinks, etc. They also had a very good and varied music played by a super DJ; there was a great amount of people who were very enthusiastic and well behaved: dancing, singing and having fun. We had a real awesome night and are very happy to have chosen this restaurant and the beautiful city of Luxembourg to spend a great New Year's Eve!!!

The former restaurant named Last Supper was changed into this Portuguese restaurant . Food is good and pleasant. However the whole place smells years of restauration, température is really cold and badly monitored and service is just medium.Parking under the restaurant for free in the evening.
