Usually a good place for breakfast but this time really disappointing. The large breakfast, while large had overcooked sausages, burnt mushrooms and tasteless bacon. This was a favourite place of mine but no longer. There are other places offering better food and better value. So disappointing.

Restaurant with portuguese and mediterranean cuisine, with contemporary presentation, ideal for a relaxed lunch or exquisite dinner
This restaurant is very good with attentive service and great food. You must try the "cataplana" Portuguese dish if you are a fan of seafood. It was moist and flavoursome and truly a highlight of our stay in Burgau.

For a special night out a very special well established restaurant
Both the food and the service ooze pure class here and you will find it a cut above the other dining experiences in Luz. A great place to head to for any occasion. Thank you for a great night.

We visited this restaurant during our stay in Luz in May 2018 on the recommendation of family who have used it quite a lot; our only regret is that we didnât try it earlier into our stay.I suppose the main reason we did not use it earlier was that because it is actually just outside of Luz in a little village called Espiche we thought it would be a bit of a nightmare to walk to. It actually wasnât, about a 30min stroll from our hotel and a very nice stroll at that.Firstly the village itself is a beautiful and quaint typical little Portuguese village and is well worth a visit in itself. The name Adega do Papagaio literally translates to âparrot cellarâ and there is a great little historic story behind the restaurant and its owner, I wonât go into that now, but itâs easy to look up as I did and very interesting. The experience of this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, the food, which consists of 7 different meats, is served as raw and you have a hot stone on your table on which you cook the meat yourself. You then get the salad and chips etc. all served on separate plates. It certainly takes a good appetite to get through everything thatâs for sure. There are 3 menu options, the popular which is just the main course of the 7 meats and all the trimmings, menu a which includes a soup of the day starter a dessert and a coffee to finish and menu b which is basically menu a but is all inclusive of drinks, wine, beer or soft drinks. We opted for menu a, and it took all our appetite and rather large boots to finish..lolThe food was fantastic, and the experience of cooking it on the hot stone on your table made it a very special and unique night out.The price was absolutely superb, especially for what you get, probably the cheapest evening meal we ate during our stay.I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, the location, the food, the restaurant itself and its history and not mentioning the overall experience make this an absolute must.

We found this place on trip advisor and were delighted with our choice. I think it was Grill night or something similar, it was a Monday evening. There were fixed menus for 2 or 3 courses at â¬15.90 or â¬19.90 which included some really good food. Main course choices were a whole sea bass or steak or Piri Piri chicken or grilled swordfish. All really nice - there were 4 of us and we had all 4. Great service (the waiter could have been a little chirpier) but was a good evening

Real Steak Lover's heaven in Praia da Luz - Lagos / Portugal Open Monday to Saturday fo Dinner, from 6pm Reservations recommended
I have stayed in Luz several times now and on each occasion we have eaten at Look. The food is fantastic, my friends/family and I have never been disappointed. They serve some of the best steaks I have ever tasted, the mashed potato is gorgeous and the lamb is delicious. They also serve the most fabulous sangria! I would suggest that you book to avoid being disappointed. Really helpful and friendly staff.Cannot praise this restaurant enough, a real favourite of ours. Thank you very much âº

No reservation is possible, so get there early as the place fills quickly. Tables are close together and the diners chat together easily which makes for a pleasant atmosphere in an otherwise rather unprepossessing premises.

Commercial centre Edeficio Luztur.
This restaurant had a ton of Michelin recommendation stickers on its door. And for good reason. We were greeted upon arrival and escorted to a great corner table. The restaurant is tiny, and only seats 24 guests, of which all seats are full except for one table of two. Decor felt like I was sitting in someoneâs home. Very comfortable. Two of ordered classic Portuguese dishes and another ordered the lamb. The classic dishes were delicious. The lamb was a little over cooked for my friends taste, but still tasty. So if you like your lamb rare, you bets let them know. Desserts were delicious and they ended our meal with complimentary port. Service was attentive and friendly. One of the best meals we had in Portugal.

OndaLuz on the entrance to Praia da Luz, near when Rua da Varzea meets the Rua Direita, is a really nice traditional Portuguese Restaurante, know for its fish dishes, but it also has a wide variety of meat and seafood, you should also try the house especi
First visit to this restaurant in quite a while and was not disappointed. Really nice and well prepared food, very good atmosphere if just a little noisy. Staff helpful and service was professional. The monkfish Portuguese was really tasty and my guests were impressed by both the steak and kebab. Will be returning soon but booking is essential.

After waiting 1.5hrs for main course, we enquired if our food was coming- to overhear staff saying what do think this is McDonaldâs?!!!Staff couldnât be bothered. Even when we got the food, chicken piri piri was dry and tough, and sea bass was not good. Chips greasy. So many lovely places so donât go here.
