Very nice restaurant , good food with a very reasonable price . Try the " dishes of the day / pratos do dia " maybe for less of 6 Euros each . Been there a few times in different times of the day for lunch , brunch and dinner and always enjoyed the food . Recommend !

Probably the best place to sample a typical Portuguese "prato do dia" in Castro Verde. Not only does it have a good choice, usually at least six different main courses for lunch, but it is outstanding value at just 7.5 euros for cover, main course, desert and a drink.

We discovered the restaurant through Tripadvisor in the middle of a trip and decided to try it out.Simple restaurant with good service.Food well cooked and very tasty.Highly recommend.
It's early days so hopefully, it can still improve. The interior décor is one of its best features. Externally, it has great potential with a large outdoor area but the furniture needs to be more modern and welcoming. As a tapas bar it's average with a limited choice but second visit was better than the first in terms of quality. The toasted sandwiches and burgers are ok.Great it offers a selection of wines, something lacking in other bars in the area and it has a good selection of spirits. Unfortunately, the service is somewhat slow.We have had similar reports from our guests but it's worth supporting because it wouldn't take that much effort to make it better.

This is our second visit to this delightful little restaurant. Although not the cheapest the food is delicious with huge portions and extremely well prepared. All the staff were very kind and attentive and it was definitely a meal to remember. Would definitely return as their lamb dish was amazing!!

Being a partial vegetarian, this is not the restaurant for me! However, I can say the service is very nice. I had a few dinners there and ordered fish, and there wasn´t a problem ;)Desserts are very good!

What an excellent addition to the restaurants in Castro Verde. At weekends, you can enjoy dressed crab and clams (simply wonderful) or a mixture of black pig. They have some great daily dishes from the traditional alentejana (pork and clams), to roasted lamb or casserole chicken or T-bone steak.Extremely pleasant décor. You can eat in or out and friendly helpful service. A limited but good choice of wine.Thoroughly recommend this if you are in town.

This is an upmarket restaurant and has a very warm and authentic ambiance typical of the area. The restaurant specialises in Portuguese cuisine. The fish is undoubtedly amazing and any selection of fish will be a good choice. The portions are very reasonable and filling. Certainly a good choice if you're in the area.
