Very friendly and prompt service. The mahi mahi was generously-sized and served with brown rice and a nice salad (with feta, nuts, seeds and a light dressing). The lemon and dill sauce was really tasty too. A tasty and very satisfying meal at a friendly establishment. Conveniently there is foil at the front so you can take away and keep your meal warm.

This is a quick-serve, counter service place at a strip mall. It features local favorite dishes like loco moco and more. There are tables for those who wish to dine in, first come first serve. The dining area has ceiling fans, but I don't recall any AC. In the evening when we arrived, there was a daunting queue, almost out the front door. Recommended for those looking for quick, quality local food in a casual setting. Tip: try going in off-hours to avoid crowds.Aloha,Thank you for the detailed and accurate review. We do offer a dinning area, but it does fill up quickly at times. Please stop in on your next trip here.Mahalo,Kent H. AotakiManager

Finally made to this place for the Loco Moco. They have a really good menu. We chose to eat on the deck with the leaves and musician. I had the burger. Turned out to be really juicy, especially with all my fixings. Wife had the Loco Moco, she says it is now her fav Place for Locos. Her Mi Tai was just ok, pretty weak and the onion rings are a pass. Our waitress Janice was a doll.Hi Mark, we really appreciate your feedback and such kind words! We're looking forward to serving you again.

Humuhumunukunukuapua'a

Reviewed By lwj

Humuhumunukunukuapua’a is located at the Grand Wailea and has a great view of the sunset in the evening. Make reservations and request a table neat the rail.... if you are staying at another resort, allow a bit of time to walk around and explore the grounds before your reservation. The service is very attentive and the food is creative and better than average.... for us, the view of the sunset was an additional positive for this restaurant. We had the Ulu (breadfruit) Risotto (very rich and filling) and Macadamia rolls, Pineapple sourdough and Monkey Bread with Squid ink served with Guava butter... we also tried the Fish of the day: Moi served with Manila Clams in a Soy Ginger Broth with Napa Cabbage, Snow Peas, Scallions, Cilantro. We finished with the Mushroom dessert with red velvet, ganache, pistachio moss, ice cream, chocolate mousse... served with a pot of French Press Maui Coffee. A very good dining experience topped off with Mother Nature putting on a fantastic sunset show!
