Reviews on Polish food in Swidnica, Lower Silesia Province, Poland. Świdnica (Polish pronunciation: ['ɕfʲidʲˈɲit͡sa]; German: Schweidnitz; Czech: Svídnice) is a city in southwestern Poland in the region of Silesia. It has a population of 59,002 inhabitants according to 2014 figures. It lies in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, being the seventh largest town in that voivodeship. From 1975–98 it was in the former Wałbrzych Voivodeship. It is now the seat of Świdnica County, and also of the smaller district of Gmina Świdnica (although it is not part of the territory of the latter, as the town forms a separate urban gmina). Świdnica became part of the Wałbrzych agglomeration on 23 January 2014.

We were looking for a reasonably priced nice restaurant for my husband and I and another couple to eat out at while visiting Swidnica. This place did not disappoint and I would definitely recommend. It is very cozy and comfortable and a fire was burning in the fireplace (late September). There were no English menus but we donât mind that - what the heck this is Poland. We enjoy the adventure and challenge. As it was we had a lovely young waitress that spoke English well enough to help us out with the menu. We were surprised by the quality of the food- absolutely delicious and very, very affordable. If youâre in the area check it out.

We held our wedding party here in December 2014 as we got married in England, and had a meal with family here the week after. What can I say, the venue is brilliant, it is very traditionally themed with beautiful decoration and the staff are the most attentive and helpful as you can find!We held a private party here for ~40 guests and every single person was bowled over by the food and drink available. Everything was cooked to perfection - we knew this would be the case as we came for lunch a while before to try it out and I can describe the food as "like home made!", we really enjoyed all the different courses which ZagÅoba had to offer and the guests from both Poland and England were astounded! We were welcomed so warmly, all evening until early in the morning the staff were on great form and always available; the value for money was simply astonishing too. I can't recommend a nicer, more traditional and fun restaurant in the area than ZagÅoba, I guarantee you will not be disappointed with your visit!Thank you all so much again for your hospitality and attention to detail, you are great!!!

Restaurant Fado i Wino is a new, unique place on the culinary map of Åwidnica, combining the flavors of the Iberian Peninsula and Lower Silesia. The name of the restaurant refers to the passion and love we give Portugal for simplicity of food, pleasant cl
We had very nice food compared with dark polish beer. We enjoyed the meal - too tired to dive into all the other possibilities in the city.

The food, esp. the pork knuckle I had, was great, portion sizes are huge (even too much) and the interior design is at a high level. I am definitely coming back.

We've visited place on busy Saturday summer evening. It felt like they could with at least two members of staff on floor. Never the less super friendly and delicious pizza with option to share two different flavours on one mega sized. Could do with better selection of beer. Toilet need a lock but can't say nothing negative about cleanliness. Will come back.

We went to WoloWina last night in a large group...We ordered our food and drinks and just enjoyed the atmosphere. In typical polish style our drinks took a fair while to arrive (no problem)Food was great, we had lots of different things between us but everybody enjoyed their meal. Really good prices...9 of us went and had food and several drinks for about £25 a couple...brilliant Would go again

It is the first visit in the restaurant but I am so much positivity surprised that decided to write a review right away. We took 2 pizzas: diavola and capriccioza and both of them were simply very tasty. Fresh and light. No sauce or ketchup! The dessert- just take a look at the photo. Delicious. Go and check yourself!

Visited with few friends couple of weeks ago. Waited ages to be served. Each time different waitress was serving us . First lady very friendly but next time someone else came and without taking notes was taking orders,of course got it wrong. Waited very long for drinks and at around 22hrs we were asked to pay and leave. not too impressed.

The Town Hall Cellar / Piwnica Ratuszowa is the oldest restaurant in Åwidnica. You can not delve into its charms, not going down the stairs a few meters in the underground of the Åwidnica's Hall. Åwidnica's beer was produced and held in the Town Hall Base
Again I visited Ratuszowa. Very often I come here for a beer or two, Opat is excellent.I had several mains here as well. Always, good, especially game. What is really the must to try here, even if you are not hungry, is żurek w chlebie, sour Rye soup served in bread. Terrific balance of sour, herby taste with white sausage and boiled egg with addition of well baked crispy " bread plate" and garlic sauce If you like, served on a side. Ideal for hot summer evenings, with mug of cold Opat....Well and maybe second one after
