The town is on the south bank of the River Tees and is historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire. The bridge at Yarm marked the furthest reach of tidal flow up the River Tees until the opening, in 1995, of the Tees Barrage, which now regulates river flow above Stockton. As the last bridge on the river before the sea, it was superseded by a new toll bridge opened in Stockton in 1771. The oldest part of the town, around the High Street, is situated in a loop of the river, and the newer parts of the town extend to the point where the River Leven meets the River Tees.

We visited for a family meal. Unfortunately there were no pizzas available as the fridge had broken and the dough was spoiled. However the manager was very apologetic and gave everyone a free meat platter and fries. Staff were very helpful and made the most out of a stressful situation. We will be returning for pizza very soon.

The family visit here often and always have great meals. The atmosphere and service is continuously good. Iâve recently been diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and discovered the gluten free menu yesterday- itâs a large menu which is taken from the normal menu with gluten free changes! They cater for everyone!

Love love love Felliniâs. Such a gorgeous dinning experience here, the decor is lovely and makes you instantly feel relaxed the service is always fast and excelllent. The food is always amazing when visiting here and a very good price for local fresh produce. If you havenât been to this place yet , my answer is why not??! Best decision you will make !

Eat out at least weekly. Since we found this restaurant the first time it quickly became our favorite. We now probably eat here regularly, more than any other restaurants. My wife and I go as a couple, we also go with other couples, go with work colleagues, go with family and also as one with couples, work colleagues, family and friends. Service is superb, food plentiful, first class quality, good choice, brilliant staff and prices very, very reasonable. Can't say enough good about this restaurant.

As a fairly regular customer, I can thoroughly recommend this great little Italian restaurant. Always busy, but the staff are very efficient. The menu is what you would expect from an Italian restaurant and all meals I and friends have had have been enjoyed. The atmosphere is invariably friendly with everyone else also appearing to be enjoying their meals and company.

Yarmâs been a bit barren on the decent take-away pizza front since Prima Donna closed their doors. In fact, itâs been a dead-spot and weâd ended up resorting to the (surprisingly very good) Pizza Hut Delivery in Stockton for our pizza fix although, actually, they donât deliver to Yarm, which was a bit of a pain.Step forward Pizza & Co, which weâd spotted being set up in what must count as one of the smallest buildings in Yarm (the other being Mint Hobo). After what must have been over a year, it finally opened its doors and, Iâm pleased to say, itâs never looked back.Letâs cut to the chase; the pizzas are absolutely cracking. I mean genuinely cracking. Because weâre awkward, thereâs always something to add or remove from the pizza, but thatâs never been an issue and the chaps have always been excellent. If youâre not feeling the need to speak to somebody then look no further, because you can order online, although if you do that, you canât customise your order, so weâve not tried to see what the online experience is like.Of course, it wouldnât be a Teesside pizza place if they didnât also do the obligatory parmo, burgers and kebabs. I canât say Iâve tried the burgers, but I have tried the parmo and, in fact, it was so good that Iâve tried it again since. And again. And again. Really, really excellent. Full parmo is pretty large (so large that I wonât order it again, because the small parmo is more than enough!) and not only does it come with equally good chips, it also comes with salad thatâs actually fresh and edible; who knew such a thing existed? Iâm struggling to fault the place. In fact, if I say that my only issue has been that, the one time I ordered a half parmo and asked if they could add a little doner meat on the top, I returned home to find a mountain of doner meat on top, then youâll probably understand that I havenât had any issues with the place. Excellent take away, good value and nice staff. Itâs part of a small, local chain and deserves to do well. Go try.Oh, and the chaps are very active on FaceBook, with lots of offers and competitions on a daily basis, so worth a follow; got to be in it to win it!

RUDE seniors staff, young casual workers all polite. Slow service not attentive. Food very poor and the wait was even worse. 1 hours 20 minutes for 4 main meals is a disgrace. Not one apology. Much better places in yarm. Will never return. AVOID.

Still busy early on a Thursday evening.The food and service are still to a good standard.However, Iâd forgotten just how noisy it gets.How close together the tables are.How hard the chairs are â really doesnât help the experience by the end of your meal.I know it is what it is but it could be better.
