Mid Villa Pizza, in Palos Heights, IL, is the area's leading restaurant serving Palos Heights and surrounding areas since 1972. We offer pizza, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, fish and chips, fresh salads and more. 80% of our menu is homemade! We only deliver
Most pizza places skimp on the toppings, but not Mid-Villa. Prices are comparable to other pizza places, but the volume of cheese, sausage, pepperoni etc. is much better. Many other Italian dishes are offered, but pizza is the star. Small and friendly neighborhood bar draws families and friends with good food, prices and great pizza.
We went to a birthday party here and were pleased with the great wait staff and the tasty food. They have many tasty appetizers and the meals are good and filling. They have games televised so it is a nice place to meet to watch your fav sport.

My first visit to Papa Joe's, a month ago, was met with very friendly staff and excellent food. My sister enjoyed "Grandma's Pot Roast" and I ate every bit of my sampler plate selected from the specials menu. The portions were generous and the mini-carafe of wine was enjoyable. The warm loaf of bread was wonderfully delicious. When fifteen of my relatives decided to visit after Christmas, I decided that Papa Joe's would be a perfect place for dinner. Seventeen of us enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and wonderfully pleasant wait staff who served us. We ate from the menu and several people chose the sixteen ounce pork chop available in four different styles. (My sister took half of hers home and was still raving about it the next day!) The portions are very generous and everyone in the party was very happy with the meals they ordered. In addition to two nice dining areas for eating in, they offer catering and take out. For excellent Italian dining, I highly recommend the family-friendly Papa Joe's restaurant.

Mama Vesuvio's East is located in Palos Heights. We are a dining, small banquet, bar/lounge, and outdoor patio Italian restaurant on Chicago's southside that's been around for over 30 years.
Like the title says we were here last night to see the Vito Zatto show. The show was good but is definitley for an older audience as the references are older. Only mention the show so you have an idea of the crowd and room we were in for the review. Im guessing because of the large crowd coming the waitress only would give us limited menus. Was rather odd. The food was average. Not amazing but by no stretch bad. I had the baked penne with meatballs. Past was good, meat balls looked great but, were very dry. Very disappointing. The same was true with my wife's pasta. Our group had the fried vegetable platter (which includes garlic bread, not a veggie) and everyone loved the platter. Our group also ordered a pizza which i presume was good as there was very little left. We also wound up having a slice of cheese cake which was served with whipped cream. Good but just a regular cheese cake. I attributed this to the show but service got rather slow. For about the last hour to hour and a half we never saw our server. She was nice and offered us suggestions with food but we never saw her (even in the room) until it was over. Overall it was a good experience. I would return but ordering something else and on a night with no show. Do not let my review scare you away as so many people there talked about how often they visit. The owner who kept popping into thw show seemed very nice.

Saw this place on Chicago's Best on television. We had to try it. Ordered a thin crust cheese and sausage pizza. It was good but they were a little light on the sausage? Kind of disappointed because on the television they showed them building a pizza and putting on a lot of sausage? Maybe that was for television? Had to wait about 25 minutes for a table and than a additional 45 minutes for our pizza. The crust was fine but not real crispy actually kind of soft. On the other hand the wait staff was very good and extremely busy. I may want to give this place another try when they are not so busy. I think that by being busy the quality seemed to slip away from them. They have 3 large screen televisions for viewing. There seems to be enough parking between the lot and street. Sorry, just wish I could have wrote a better review for you.
Ordered delivery the other day. We order semi-frequently from here. The review is kinda odd, because it's a Pizza Hut. It's a chain. Their service is good. Their pizza....the pizza is sufficient for the price. Yes there are better pizza places in the area, but they are also easily double (in many times triple) the price. You can order online - I love that feature - and there are always "deals" and such. Perfectly adequate cheap pizza.

For outstanding Italian cuisine, look no further than Palermo's 95th. This family run, award winning restaurant specializes in authentic veal, steak, pasta, and fresh seafood creations for lunch and dinner. Established in 1961 by Ben and Nina Calderone, t
Was there with family for dinner. Service was slow. I ordered the eggplant on texas toast and what I got was a toasted french like split roll with one or two slices of cheese with marinara sauce and two small slices of eggplant. I wound up cutting the excess bread away and had a 3x3 inch 'meal'. The cole slaw was also pretty bad.
Every week on Tuesday, Oh Boy Pizza runs a great offer for 1/2 price on their thin crust family, jumbo and party sized pizzas. For other days of the week, they offer other coupons with free pop or combos. They always have coupon mailers or offers stapled to their pizzas. It's always a good value and bet for your money no matter which day or offer you choose to use. I usually order a thin crust party size with sausage and pepperoni and the garlic butter crust. I tend to order it crispy/well-done to make sure the entire pizza is crispy from the outer edge to the center. The sauce has a nice tangy flavor to it and the sausage and pepperoni are very flavorful. However, the garlic butter crust adds just the right extra taste sensation to the pizza. If you haven't tried the garlic butter crust, you really should! There aren't too many great pizza places to choose from in the Palos/Worth area, so it's easy to see why this pizza place is always busy. Even when they have a line of people picking up pizzas for carryout, they are always courteous and pleasant to deal with. For those who don't want to go out to get their pizza, delivery is offered too. This is a must-try pizza place and I highly recommend it!

Visiting my son at the nearby college, not surprisingly, he wanted to go out for pizza. We found Jullianniâs and weâre not disappointed. They prepare stuffed, pan, thin and flatbread pizzas with the favorites listed. You can modify your selection and there is a gluten free option available as well. Jullianniâs is quite honest about the preparation time but Iâm sure we received our order well before the time limit. It is a family restaurant atmosphere with a diverse clientele. We were very pleased with our server and will definitely return on future visits. Well done!
