We stop by Broadway Pizzeria just about every week. We love their pizza! The service is always quick and friendly. The menu has many choice for a great lunch or take out. Very popular for the lunch crowd. We usually stop around 3:00 after things slow down. Never had a bad pizza. Plenty of cheese, they don't over load with tomatoe sauce. Delish and I think the best in pizza in White Plains. The prices are just right. They even have whole wheat or gluten free pizzas!Dine in, take out or delivery. Over 40 years in White Plains! We didnât go here because it was romantic or for Valentineâs Day but because we were in the area with my folks and we wanted something casual and hoped it would not be too busy. This old establishment is tired looking and could use some updates but the food is good and simple. The pizza is good, thin, and cooked well with good ingredients. It is a casual place and priced accordingly. We waited for a table of 4 and the service is below par but acceptable and I didnât expect more. Tables are close together so expect to get bumped and plates dropped by waiters/waitress cause itâs tight. The portions are below average but filling. Not a place to bring food home which is fine with me. Nothing special and nothing to brag about but it good and no frills with good ingredients. I was pleasantly happy with my seafood entree. I think customers keep this place busy because it is casual, not expensive, and you get a decent meal.

Ate here on 6/8/17. Nice looking place and sort of attentive waiters. The salads are huge and not fresh. I would have appreciated the waiter telling us that one salad would serve at least four. Pizza was excellent but I felt meal was too pricey. The waiter seemed bored and didn't do much. The food was good but if I returned I'd go in with eyes open!!!!

North Street (as many patrons refer to it) is a neighborhood restaurant, which offers an upscale menu, as well as a wide range of selections from its famous wood-fired pizza to a Rib Eye, fresh salmon, pasta entrees or featured specials of the day. North
I wish I had taken a picture of my dinner companionâs grilled shrimp appetizer before she started eating it, because the presentation was that youâd see in a high priced NYC eatery( and so was the taste!) My choice of an appetizer, a truffled burrata served with tomatoes, put on the warm crusty bread was delightful. As for entrees- mine a pan-seared red snapper with a squash sauce was cooked to perfection and the sauce was unusual and delicious. My friend was just as pleased with her seared salmon served with roasted potatoes and spinach. Although we went for the seafood tonight, there is a good variety of that wood fired pizza that is in the name. We saw a number of diners enjoying said pizza sitting at the beautiful wood bar or in the dining room.Yesterday here was almost like summer and on such days this establishment has a large deck, just expanded, where you can have an after work drink or come to dine. Only about 45 minutes out of Manhattan by car, North Street Tavern provides great eats and drinks for the golfers right out the door at Maplemore (?) or for those of us who never swing a club, but love a good meal and a tasty beverage at a reasonable price. Thank you for such a great review. I appreciate that you took the time and it was a pleasure meeting you the other night. Joe

It was a little disconcerting that the restaurant didnât take phone reservations, but we were seated immediately upon arrival. Four of us came at scattered times, but it didnât faze the server at all! He was patient with us as we were old friends who hadnât seen each other for many month, and we kept chatting and ignoring our menus. As our friends arrived, they were approached immediately for drink orders. The food was good, the service was excellent. Iâm sure we will be back!

Letâs start off by saying you donât go to Francescoâs for a quiet romantic dinner. If you like good basic red sauce Italian food itâs great. I love when people who arenât even Italian put down a restaurant as a red sauce place. Thereâs nothing like a good red sauce place for good food. They make a great pizza.Pastas are the usual including the baked ziti type, all good.Iâve never had steak, chicken or fish here but I have a nice veal parm.Prices wonât kill you.

Iâve been looking for a long time for a good restaurant in WP thatâs not outrageously expensive and looks like I found it. The food was surprisingly sophisticated and good. The wine list is also quite good with different price points. Service was excellent. The decor is modern and the room isnât too noisy. It has all the makings of a great dinner and it delivers. I will be back.

Went there late evening with friends for a quick bite to eat. We ordered coal fired pizza and a small calzone. Both items were excellent. There was nothing small about the small calzone which was shared with four people. The pizza was done to perfection and shared and enjoyed by all. The place was very clean. Sports bar atmosphere. Will make it a point to visit again next time in WP.
