Myself and friends weren't that excited about this pizza joint when it was known as Kingstown pizza. However, it seems that there has been an effort to improve their menu items and revitalize the place after changing their name to Donahue's. We placed two large orders within a couple of weeks and really enjoyed the pies and salads. The staff was particularly friendly and energetic as well. I sincerely hope they continue the great work.

Itâs been a while since we been here and this visit was average at best. Actually, I would rate this 2 1/2 stars. The pizza dough tasted more like a biscuit dough rather than pizza dough. The flavors werenât that tasty. This is unusual, but our kids meals were good according to them!

This is a review of Westcott House in Coventry, RI, on Tiogue Avenue. I live in Coventry and love having a nice family style restaurant nearby. Plenty of parking available, good service and great food. My favorite dish is the Macaroni & Cheese with chicken and prosciutto...delicioso! Other dishes I have sampled and love: Baked stuffed shrimp; goat cheese burger, fish & chips, marinara, corn chowder, bbq chicken nachos, baked swordfish steak. They usually have a great assortment of sides. Love their butternut squash!I've been there about 10 times now, and I would say only 2 times have been a little disappointing in service and wait. One time we waited a very long time for the main entrees, and we had a toddler with us...so that was a little stressful. Another time, we had to send our drinks back because they didn't even resemble what the drink was suppose to be, and they (2 drinks) tasted as if they were virgin drinks! We were given an apology from both the waitstaff & bartender, and given a redo on the drinks that were much better! I guess it depends on which bartender mixes your drinks and one of them is definitely light on the pour!! That also happened with a vodka tonic...tasted like just soda water! Will I still go there...hell yeah, because the other 8 times were fabulous! They have a great selection on their menu, excellent specials, and an awesome atmosphere. Dining room is very family friendly, and the separate bar area with numerous high tops is very adult friendly! :) They have one big screen TV in dining room, and several screens in the bar area. If you would like to watch a different game...they are happy to change the channel if it doesn't upset others. They also have a musician on certain nights playing in the bar later in the evening. Seems like a great place to schedule an event/banquet, as well.

Iâm a tough critic when it comes to pizza, & Pagâs is by far the best in RI. They are always consistent, nice crust, never greasy, good cheese & they have a fresh, tangy delicious sauce. I recently ordered a few party pizzas & these were the best Iâve had. I brought them to a party & everyone loved them. The ownerâs Dave & Gloria really do an amazing job with this small town pizza place. We love it!

We were running errands and decided to take a chance on Frank Pepe's. We love it. You have pizza, salad, and a drink. Biggest decisions are which toppings, which salad and which beverage. Simple, but excellent thin crust, crispy pizza. You can't go wrong if you're a thin crust aficionado.

Founded in 1961 by the Valerio family in East Boston, Papa Gino's has been serving the same thin-crust Italian-style pizza and supporting local New England communities for over half a century. With dough made fresh daily in Walpole MA from just five simpl
$8.99 for a large carry out cheese pizza always works on a budget. Service was quick and pleasant. Would go again, but maybe 2 slices would be enough.

We tried a little of everything. The stand out is the sauce. Me being from NY and moving to CT sauce is what I miss most. I will travel the 30 minutes to eat here. Homemade sauce and meatballs, large portions, and great owners. Drinks are from a vending machine only was the only inconvenience. We will be back. Thanks for dinner.

Went to both places on a rainy day for strips. Palmieris is box on left, Petrillos box on right. Results:Petrilloâs is a lighter softer bread-like crust and their sauce is sweeter and less oily and less seasoned. They use a lot more sauce. Overall a lighter affair.Palmieriâs is a crusty crunchy tastier oiled crust and their sauce is more oily and seasoned and more âtangyâ with a touch of good bitterness. They use less sauce. We loved both but I prefer Palmieriâs crunchy zestiness and my wife prefers the sweeter lighter Petrilloâs. So the battle continues.
