It is situated on the Ouachita River, across from the neighboring city of Monroe. The two cities are often referred to as the Twin Cities of northeast Louisiana. Its population was 13,065 at the 2010 census and it is part of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical Area. The mayor, Dave Norris, a Democrat, has served since July 1, 1978, and was unopposed for a tenth term in the municipal election in 2014.

We love johnnys and have it every Sunday for dinner with the family pizza is great and salads are marvelous! Lots of good stuff and varieties sweep the kitchen and swamp are our favorites!!

Grew up eating Johnny's and never fail to eat there when in town for a visit. The pizza is excellent as it ever was. The signature Sweep The Kitchen remains a staple but pales next to the seasonal Sweep The Swamp which I can't recommend highly enough. Their muffaleta Italian sandwich is a reliable standby as well; make sure you have it with the olive spread. No trip to Louisiana is complete, at least for me, without a visit to Johnny's. Highly recommend!

While in town on business I asked one of the clients about good local restaurants. When I mentioned pizza she immediately told me Johnny's was the best. The fact that they had a pizza with andouille sausage on it made me curious. The fact that it was delicious made me write this review. If you are in northern Louisana/Tennessee area and you have a moment then you have to try this place. Oh, and they deliver fast!

Had delivery to the hotel. Wanted to try a local place instead of Pizza Hut or something. Pizza and Breadsticks with Nacho-like cheese sauce was around 25 dollars. The pizza, a large pepperoni was thin as could be and just lacked any real taste. A cheap Little Caesars would have been better on this occasion. Will not return.

Went for our Anniversary Dinner and as always service was great and food outstanding. Normally I do not order spaghetti at an Italian restaurant but I ordered it once here and just canât stop ordering it. I get the meat sauce and meatballs, always perfect. My wife had the Crawfish Murphy and it was fantastic also. Great restaurant !
