For years we mocked their $5.99 cardboard pizza. OMG...try the deep dish instead. FABULOUS. Why buy a frozen pizza. This is absolutely great and while us older folks still miss Dick's pizza of West Bend...This will do nicely u til we get a decent sit down pizza joint again some day.

Visited for lunch on a work day. Reconfigured Ponderosa in style of Pizza Ranch. Convenient location off of major roadway. Friendly staff and usual food presentations. Fried chicken as good as any other Pizza Ranch visited. Pizza was a little picked over as it was lunchtime with lots of customers. Salad bar one of best features with variety of choices for salad and dressings. Did not like squirt bottles as opposed to ladling from container. A bit pricy for lunch.

Pizza is great and we called ahead and arrived on time. Only one person in the store on a Saturday afternoon and the sales person was busy taking phone and internet orders from customers.Or wait after walking in the door was at least 15 minutes. Glad business was good but needs more help on a weekend.
Went to Papa Murphy's to order pizza for supper tonight (4-22-17). While ordering the pizza, the gal told me the price for 2 pizzas was $26.00 and I almost told her to keep them, cause they had raised their prices since I was there last. She said last year in June they increased their prices, and they have coupons available in the local newspapers. While I was waiting for the pizza to be made by the young gal behind the counter, she put a real small handful of black olives on the pizza and I asked her if she could put a few more on and she said "NO - there were enough on the pizza already and she can only put so many on each pizza. If I hadn't already paid for the pizzas, I would of walked out right there and left the pizzas sit. (I came home and put more black olives on the pizza before baking them) This gal was rather rude to me for this encounter. Didn't get her name.

Walked in to order carry out. They wanted my phone number. I said no. Cashier was flustered because they expect you to give them your phone number even though it's ordered at the counter. I don't like that kind of business. Finally a manager coached the cashier to accept just my first name, and entered it into the computer. Not a good first experience. Large pizza deal with two toppings for $9.99. Took about 15 minutes to make. Pizza was okay. It was better than frozen, not as good as some other pizza places that I've been to. For something different, Marco's is an average pizza.

We visited for lunch last week, and there were several larger Christmas lunches taking place...we did not have reservations so sat at the bar for 10 minutes (Reasonable). We had an upstairs booth, so comfortable & private despite 2 parties. Although a âfull houseâ, Angie, our server, was attentive, service was excellent, and our food was served promptly. I had the steak sandwich, which was tender and tastefully done to perfection. I would highly recommend!!!! We had old fashions-perfect...and enjoyed talking with the bartender. Friendly team, wonderful service & tasty food...weâll be back!

Went on Feb 14th, 2017. Ordered a large deluxe pizza - $21. About 15 minutes and pizza was at our table. It was good. Not awesome but better than some other places. Only issue we had was the front of the restaurant has the outside door. No double doors so every time someone came in or left we got a blast of cold air. Pizza was cold in about 10 minutes. My wife was cold and I was cold. Place was almost full and everyone in the restaurant had on their winter coat. Even the wait staff had on a sweater. Advice... turn up the heat. Would go back but NOT in winter. Maybe in Summer.

My husband always goes to Sal's when he is working in West Bend. Finally I got to try it myself when we were traveling through this weekend. We find that good pizza is hard to come by in Wisconsin and Sal's definitely gave us something to enjoy AND left us wanting more. Sal's offers a special New York treat for us Midwesterners! If you go at lunch time.. prepared to be blown away. Five bucks for a large slice of pizza, one of their infamous garlic knots and a drink. Amazing.

We were pleasantly surprised by the very friendly service, good food, and reasonable prices at this restaurant. Good beer selection, too. I had the perch special â four nice size pieces of fish, a choice of potato, a slice of fresh rye bread (which was especially good), and a side salad. Fish was nicely seasoned and not overly breaded. I went with the baked potato instead of fries (potato pancakes were not an option), which was perfect. He had the chick parmesan dinner, which also came with a side salad and a piece of garlic bread. He commented on the freshness of the pasta and that it didnât taste like it came out of a box. Oddly, the breaded chicken breast was diced and not served whole, but he said it was still pretty good and heâd order it again. It was quite busy at 5:00 on a Friday, and was filling up with families by the time we left. It can get kind of loud upstairs. Next time weâll check out the lower level dining room.
