Been going to this restaurant for 9 years; Michele, the owner and operator is there every night. His staff, is the most friendly and professional we have encountered in the 12 years we have traveled throughout Italy. It is the only restaurant that serves, cozze al griglia, a taste treat you will never forget. The pizza by Roberta is the ultimate. If there was a 6 star rating, I would give it that. We stopped here on the way to Lecce from Naples in the middle of October. Although the waitresses were wonderful (speaking fluent German, English, and some French), the food was atrocious. We started with the octopus (which was ok) and also ordered the meat tray with a pork chop, veal chop, and sausage.We can only guess that the chef was not present, because what came back was a burned pork chop, extremely rare veal chop, and partially cooked sausage. None of it was edible. We would have sent it back and asked not to pay for it, but we just wanted to get out, so we paid and left.

I've had my fare share of pizzas Ireland, USA, U.K. , Australia. And let me tell you this, the pizza I had here in Sapri was out of this world. Paper Tin juicy fresh ingredients and a nice glass of vino. The owner was very funny and spent time talking to us. There was a young cook obviously learning how to cook these magnificents pizzas. My wife and I watched him for a while spinning pizzas and making sure the fire oven was hot and the embers were glowing red. If we ever visit here again we will certainly be back A++++++++++++

Despite being fluent in Italian we were treated clearly second class guests! Food is good, interior one of a cheap pizza joint and service is below standard if you are a non local! Avoid the place and leave it to the locals!!!

Together with family I had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. Really great service, even though waiter didn't speak english fluently. Yet, we saw efforts to explain each dish, so we felt really grateful. Talking about food, I really enjoyed it, as first meal: pasta "al dente" and second meal: swordfish were cooked well. Bottle of white wine "I Vigneti Di Bruma" (semi sweet, refreshing) complimented both courses. Lastly, at the beginning served bread was really delicious, so we asked if it is possible to buy one and they said yes. Thank you for that! This close to Naples, unacceptable. Table wine below average. Bruschetta was a bad interpretation. Pizza average, even though cooked in wood stone oven. Service??Won't go back, not recommended. Town, gorgeous ;-)

Very nice pizzas, the dough was perfect and the ingredients fresh! I'm from Napoli...and this was the best pizza I've ever had outside Naples. The service was great and prices very low. I strongly recommend it! We only went to this because we read it about it on trip advisor... Reviews were right!

We stopped by for an evening meal or snack not knowing if it was open. The owner/chef was very welcoming and was also very relaxed about our large group, which was 2 families with 4 boys aged 7-4. The anti pasta was perfection, the pasta for the children was devoured very quickly and the house red wine was delightful. A lovely memorable authentic Italian meal out to complete our holiday in the region.
