Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Vela Luka. Vela Luka (pronounced [ʋela luka] ( listen)) (Italian: Vallegrande) is a small town and a municipality in Dubrovnik-Neretva County in southern Dalmatia, Croatia. The town is located on the western side of the island of Korčula at the bottom of a wide bay which has many indented coves. Vela Luka developed at the beginning of the 19th century in a deep sheltered bay. Its name means "big harbour" in Croatian chakavian. Inhabitants of the Island of Korčula and Pelješac often refer to it simply as "Luka" (the port/harbour). It has several hotels and a medical centre called Kalos (for rheumatic disorders and rehabilitation). The inhabitants are farmers, fishermen and workers in tourism. Also the town has other smaller industrial plants.

Despite Pizzeria being so prominent in the name Amfora's menu has diversified to include mussels, homemade pasta, wok shrimps and grilled dishes. Nestled in the walls of the Old Town Amfora's quality and service is friendly, unpretentious and decent value.
Situated in a nice location down a side street in the old town. The food was good quality and reasonably priced for the area.Son and husband both had pizzas which they declared to be good, daughter lasagne and myself the homemade veggie pasta both very tasty. Had a couple of glasses of the house wine which was very drinkable.Although not a memorable meal would definitely return for a no fuss tasty dinner.

Very nice restaurant on the promenade with stunning views. Pizza is excellent with very wonderfully fresh ingredients. Can be quite busy due to location and popularity in the old town.

Nice restaurant in the Old Town KorÄula on the main promenade. Enjoy spectacular view on the KorÄula sea.
Stopped here after tour of town, view beautiful but was disappointed in the food. Salmon Tagliatelle a bit tasteless and only 6 very small chunks of salmon. Partner had lasagne. Asked if it was homemade, answer: yes. He felt it was a 2/5-only 2 levels pasta sheet & very dry. lots of other restaurants around will look elsewhere.

Went with great hopes for a much hyped wood fired pizza experience. Sadly pizza was undercooked with what can only be described as plastic cheese. Inedible. Wine ok and total meal was cheap but we cook way better pizzas at home making our own dough and cooking in a bbq pizza oven in the garden. Hope all pizzas here are not going to be like this...

Pizzeria Leut is in the old city of KorÄula, in a narrow alley full of historical memories. The key to our success is simple: fresh, dipped foods, lots of work, learning, effort and grain love.
Tried to have breakfast here 22. July 19. Ordered avocado sandwich, toast and coffee. The food took 45 minutes to get to our table. If you dont wanna use a lot of time waiting for average food, go somewhere else. The waiter does not tell you about the wait, or even smile a little bit. Such a waste of time!

Shared a Marco Polo pizza â tasty and plenty even for two people even though a couple of the ingredients (sour cream, raw tomatoes, smoked cheese) were a bit unusual. The service was prompt albeit not terribly friendly and you get a view of the town walls.

Family dinner, pizzas (as usual), jucies and beard we asked one glass of still water. The answer was that âI must sell a waterâ. Totally unethical feedback, thanks never again.

Service very polited and smiled, positive vibe and excellent pizza. Little family domestic pizza place excellent for friends or families. Reservations for dinner is recommended. Longer waitings for pizza (aprox 30-45min) is justifabily by excellent pizza. Prices are excellent even in summer season. Recommendations!

Made reservations from u.s. on a tour but with free tim told waitress we had reservations which she grudgingly acknowledged. Gave us a table link the narrow alleyway where you could barely have room enough to allow people to pass. 20 minutes later we got a disgusting greasy menu and waited another 15 minutes to order a glass of wine. She was so unpleasant and grouchy we left and went somewhere else, because just before we left she dropped a tray and spilled it over another customer, broken glass and all. Too many other choices. Save your money.
