This place is decent if youâre looking for nice food, but if youâre looking to get happy I wouldnât bother. Itâs crazy expensive, $13 US dollars for one shroom shake which did absolutely nothing. Same goes for the other bars selling them.

The girl on reception is just soo nice, she is so smiley and always says hi and asks about your day and she was so helpful.We wanted to stay for 4 nights but for some reason it was working out double the price for the 3rd & 4th night on bookin g.com so we just booked for 2 nights, we asked about staying another 2 nights when we arrived in the hostel and they said it was fine and it would be the same price as the 1st two. All in all 40,000 kip for a double room with a bathroom, air con, toiletries, towels, breakfast and free whiskeyThe room was comfortable and we had a balcony.Breakfast was nice, we mostly had eggs and toast, I tried the chicken noodle soup 1 morning and it was lovely. They serve fresh fruit with all of the options too.We had dinner here twice and the food was cheap and delicious especially the papaya salad. The free whiskey is 7pm to 10pm every night.

After being on the river all day, I was so hungry. Tried the dal and stuffed naan at the Indian restaurant but didnât like it for some reason. I wanted something simple, vegetarian, and comforting. Thankfully the Parisien Cafe was close and had a pomodoro spaghetti dish. It came out hot, noodles were al dente, sauce was simple but nice. It was just what I needed. 35,000 kip. The young lady at the counter was very sweet and all the other staff working smiled.

The family in the shop is so friendly, great option and relatively fast in laos standard of serving food. Visited this place so many times within my few days of stay in Vang Vieng.They have got great wifi and also a free shake for every food you order! The prices are acceptable and the food delightful. basically a really good place to chill

Very friendly, very delicious pizzas. We are vegan and they did not look surprised when we asked for a pizza without cheese. They put lots of fresh vegetables on it and it was just perfect!!

Sabaidee, PIZZA LUKA changed the location. We are located now at the other side of the Nam Song River. Cross the big bridge, turn right and enjoy the best pizza in town :-)

And noises from geese, hens and other feathered friends belonging to a local fella whoâs breeding them. And you can catch tubers coming back from their of day of water frolicking too. The pizza had a good base but the tomato paste was a little on the sweet side for my taste buds. Worth a visit if you got some days to hang around and in a part of town not seen by everyone, I suspectHello LiamFirst, thank you for making me laughing, your comment is so funny! :-)I think you comment about another place because no hens around the restaurant at our opening hours, and it's not the way of the tubbers... we are at the other side of the river ;-) Maybe you can come and try a good pizza at Pizza Luka ;-) you will make happy your taste buds which don't like sweet tomato sauce

Four of my friends and I visited after reading amazing reviews for this place. Some good things: the pasta sauce was quite delicious for the penne arrabiata, large wine glass portions, and the pizza crust was tasty (but burnt in some spots - like actually tasted charred)Some bad things: - very small portion size for the pasta - people spoke of handmade pasta and this didnât seem to be the case - pretty hot inside, no AC - my friend ordered a veggie pizza, with the vegetables listed on the menu. She ended up getting a pizza with carrots and an insane amount of cabbage on it as well (unlisted) - she was sad as she probably would have just ordered a margarita instead - prices do not match the menu: the wall as well as my menu said a glass of wine was 18000. Someone else at the table had a menu that said a glass was 20,000. I went ahead and ordered thinking the 20,000 was an aberration since the WALL and my menu said 18000. Upon getting the bill it said 20,000 which I politely inquired about at the front. The man serving us completely ignored me at first, texting until I said excuse me. He then proceeded to tell me the walls are wrong and I must be wrong about the menu saying 18,000 (there is no way 3 of us hallucinated 18,000 wine). I understand that 2000 is a very small amount, however it is the treatment and the principle of changing signs to be UP TO DATE and changing ALL MENU PRICES to ensure consistency. Also donât text and ignore patrons. All in all for the price premium, it isnât worth it at all. We have experienced more kindness at local family run restaurants for a tiny tiny fraction of the price.
