Arrived around 4:30 on Friday and we were the only ones for awhile. Michelle (super friendly and personable) waited on us. Ordered chicken Marsala and it was enough for two. Took the rest home. FRESH! FRESH! FRESH! EVERYTHING!! Bread, salad and their tiramisu was superb. Very fresh and light. If I lived closer, I would come here on a weekly basis. If I had three thumbs thatâs the rating I would give it.
Pizza, if delivered, is often overcooked. When they get it right, it can be really good but they just don't seem to care. Also, the place has a history of surly managers who hire pizza princesses that can be downright rude while on the phone or in person. We've actually had to tell our tale to it's sister store's manager to get resolution. The Washington Street location in Escondido is much better managed, and has a direct link to the owner. Food there is definitely more consistent. Two stars for the Country Club location

The pizza here is amazing! You can taste the freshness in the sauce and the crust was baked to a perfect golden crunch. Had the pepperoni, sausage, mushroom pizza and what was really good about it was the leanness of the meats...no grease at all on the pizza! Ron, the owner was very gracious to our family of four and he runs a great place. We were visiting from out of town and when we ever are back in this area we will definitely be back! Definitely a gem in this area of Inland San Diego...check this place out!

Ok, I'll admit it: I like Little Caesars. It's not the best, nor is it the worst I've ever had. You can't beat their prices or their hot and ready to go pizzas. My latest experience with this one was the other night. I walked in and there must have been at least 20 people standing around, waiting for their pizzas. They had hot and ready pizzas to go, and a few people walked in and walked out with the hot and ready. Everybody else must have wanted something different, or, like me, they ordered the new pepperoni pretzel crust pizza. My wait was only about 15 minutes, which was pretty good, due to the size of the crowd.I got the pizza home, still warm, and it was pretty good. This was not a traditional pizza by any means. It had salt sprinkled on the pretzel dough at the outer edges, and had cheese and pepperonis. The sauce on this pizza (under the cheese) is a creamy cheddar cheese sauce, which i thought was pretty good. My gf said she missed the traditional sauce, but this is not a traditional pizza by any means. Pricewise, Little Caesar's is great. Their pizza is ok: not the best I've had and not the worst. The worst still belongs to Domino's
The Pizza Hut being on the resort offers an easy way to get food at anytimethe Pizzas are really good with plenty of variations and teh service is excellentPhone orders are accepted

A friend of mine who used to live in Escondido told me this was her favorite haunt. So my expectations were pretty high going in. I was standing in line waiting to order a pizza while my husband used the men's room. When he returned, I asked him if he wanted a salad. He told me not to order any uncooked food here based on the filthy condition of the bathroom. Talk about an appetite killer! This is really unfortunate because the "Killer" Super Specialty pizza was exceptional. Also, if you're into all things alien, you'll get a real kick out of the mishmash of kitschy ET themed items on display. But when you're in the restaurant business, you have to run a clean establishment. So I really wish I could recommend this place, but I can't.

According to you, Tripadvisor reviewers, the top American city for pizza is ....................San Diego. That's right -- not Chicago, not New York. uh-uh. San Diego! And possibly the best pizza in town is Filippi's. Old style red and white checkered table cloths; Chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling; brick walls -- and REALLY good pizza. Enhance it with some of the house label hot crushed red pepper.street and lot parking
Where to eat Seafood food in Valley Center: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This little restaurant has changed names and menus a couple times in the past and Italian-leaning Portino's is definitely at the top of the ladder! It's a very local venue and whether it's full or not is subject to the close-knit community and their activities. Speed of service can vary sometimes but generally is friendly and efficient. Commendable menu with enough to offer something for everyone. Breadsticks are handmade with their special bread dough recipe--soft, hot and yummy. Roasted red pepper and lobster bisque soups are especially delicious! The sandwiches are also served on their homemade bread and range from Italian beef dip to a burger to pastrami to seared ahi. The ahi shrunk a bit over time so I don't rave about it anymore, but the sandwiches overall do not disappoint. They can serve up ratatouille, chicken pot pie and lobster mac & cheese, as well as pizza and a variety of pastas with or without seafood, meatballs, sausage or chicken. My personal hands down favorite: the Portino's Special Salad! it's huge, enough for two, with apples and sweet walnuts and a white balsamic dressing. Portino's is a local favorite and it makes visitors to the area happy as well.
