Ho cenato a La Taverna assaggiando degli ottimi crostoli a prosciutto. Pizza bassa non male. Vista la calura abbiamo sfruttato l'area esterna che offre ampie tavolate sotto una struttura in legno di fatto su un prato attiguo al locale vero e proprio. Consigliato per una serata alla buona senza pretese.Servizio nel complesso piuttosto veloce.

Passata la canonica ora di pranzo abbiamo gironzolato per Urbania in cerca di qualcosa da mangiare dopo tanti rifiuti e qualche kebab che offerto da queste parti fa veramente ridere. Siamo imbattuti in questo posto per caso, una sorta di pizzeria a taglio. Gestione italiana e proprietario disponibile, gentile ed entusiasta. Abbiamo mangiato un crostolo espresso veramente super buono, con annessi consigli per rifarlo a casa. Abbiamo speso poco e siamo stati bene. Se passate da queste parti super consigliato

Il locale si trova sulla congiungente Urbania-San'Angelo del Vado, a 2 km circa da Urbania, ed è parte dell'hotel Meeting. Ampio parcheggio all'esterno. Posto frequentatissimo dai locali (e questo è un buon segno), ampio locale, pasta fatta in casa (consiglio i cappelletti) così come i dolci. Buona anche la pizza. Prezzi contenuti.

Well, I enjoyed the wine. The pizza, Sicilana I could of done without. The black olives tasted like they were fresh from the can and the anchovies, well they tasted like tuna. The crust was overcooked. I didn't think you could get a bad pizza in Italy.

We found this little place in the middle of town, and were welcomed in despite it being quite late. Very nice young lady serving mainly pizza to locals. Perfectly acceptable local wine, and to eat I had bresaola beautifully prepared with rocket, pecorino and fresh tomato, followed by fresh seafood pasta, quite delicious. My husband had the affitato misto followed by fresh pasta with asparagus and a type of speck. He is still raving about it! All served with good humour.The pizzas looked very good too and had we been staying longer we would have been tempted.Even in little places in Italy the pride in the food they serve is humbling.The cost? 40 euros in total!

We waited 45 minutes for our food. According to the waiter, there were 'too many people'. When it came, my companions thought it reasonable for the (cheap) price. My pizza Siciliana, however, was soggy and uninteresting. The bench we sat on was narrow and hard. Not an experience we shall repeat.
