We had dinner and ordered all pizza. The pizzas were all deliver very fast...too fast as we didn't even had time to start eating the garlic bread. The toppings on the pizza's were all very limited. I've understood there was a general problem with the mushroom supply, but other toppings were also very limited as my quattro stagioni had a few toppings on top. Taste however, was good.

How does one review this restuarant.Firstly its under new management this year. The food is certainly superior to anything that has been on offer before but the somewhat chaotic approach to service somehow continues. The appetisers are what you would expect in a small italian restuarant, although i did think that the cockles and mussels were paricularly good.Pasta dishes were very interesting, well cooked and varied. Not the greatest set of choices for kids (avoid the spaghetti pomodoro at all costs) but given that there is a wood pizza oven within the restuarant , this in itself is not a huge challenge.I personally did not have a fish maincourse, instead choosing to focus on the meat. The Lamb is excellent and the pork is wonderful. Generally and unusually for Italy, the meat dishes included a small salad or a polenta tart (delicious). I also tried the tagliata ( sliced Beef). Aesthetically this is a wonderful dish ,big pieces of rare sirloin covered with rocket and local pecorino (goats cheese) and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Unfortunately either the quality of the meat or its cooking did not live up to impression given by plate.Deserts are a speciality, wonderfully light and varied. Make sure you ask what they have rather than just look at the menu. Freshly made easy day they were truly delighful.Drinks were as you would expect. House wine was more than drinkable and cheap and decent red wine by ythe glass is available at affordable prices to accompany your meat. For coffee maybe head downstairs to the campsite bar.The prices are extremely reasonable. The pizza is almost excellent although to my mind one more minute in the oven would make all the difference. Dont try tell the Pizza guy that though, has a high opinion of himself. The only major drawback is the service. While all the staff are extremely friendly and some even speak good english, the service can be chaotic. Something always seems to go wrong. Its hard to be cross because the people are so nice and the food is generally very good but it can be wearing. We ate there four times this summer and overall would recommend it. Perhaps the best bit of advice I could give is to avoid mondays! A definite no no!

Visited with the family and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and service, good quality food and the very reasonable prices.Da Silvano is located in a residential neighbourhood and has a decent sized terrace overlooking a play area.We tried mixed antipasti, pizzas and dessert and all were good - not Michelin star, just good honest Italian cooking. Pizza prices range from â¬5-8 - very reasonable!

I could not believe the don't care attitude of this restaurant. After the great service of many of the local restaurants we were so surprised by the 'don't care' attitude of this restaurant. There are many better places to go in town. Don't bother with this one.
Great place for a coffee or a meal and glad to see it is doing really well. Very good service. We have tried the pizza and the hamburger all excellent. In fact the burgers were as good as any served in UK. Recommended

We had the Antipastone di mare (2), one Frittura mista and one Insalata Di mare, for three people. It was too much but we finished it anyway because it was good and tasty. Itâs loud during peak times, but itâs July so itâs normal. Fast and courteous service. Will go again. (Itâs great for families/groups since the menu is varied and everybodyâs going to find something they like, either meat or fish or pasta etc.).

restaurant with typical Umbrian dishes and seafood. The evening is also a pizzeria with wood oven.ristorante con cucina tipica umbra e piatti a base di pesce di mare. La sera è anche pizzeria con forno a legna.
Went there for an family evening meal. The restaurant has a very big terrace which is really nice. The menu has a large selection of dishes. But when we arrived, we were ignored by staff for a little while before they gave us a table (it was a busy evening but still....) and we had to keep searching for a waiter to be able to order .The food portion are large but nothing exceptional.

Great view of the lake, unusually for this area in a slightly secluded location so you are away from the hustle and bustle and eternal traffic. Lovely park which is dog friendly. Good food - the fried lake fish is delicious - and good pasta, with some slightly unusual combinations. Definitely a place to come back to.
