So on a recent family trip from Atlantic Canada to Ontario, we decided to end our first day on the road in Trois Rivieres Quebec. After a long day of driving we were looking for something that we didnt have to think to hard about. So after a recommendation from our clerk at the hotel we made our way to Pizzeria 67. We were a little worried as we do not speak much french, like zero, the most my son could muster after a year of french in grade school was ' je suis un si vous plait' which is ' I am a thank you' so were werent batting 1000.The place itself is unassuming, and has a restaurant and a separate bar area. We were quickly seated, and once the wait staff figured out our lack of frenchyness, quickly sent a server that could speak both french and english. She was extremely patient with us and was extremely helpful. As it was our first night in Quebec 3 out of 4 of us ordered a poutine. The kids had a cheese pizza and poutine combo and my wife ordered escargot in garlic butter and cheese as a starter and what she thought was a classic beef gravy and curd poutine but ended up being a tomato meat sauce and cheese poutine. I had a chicken souvlaki plate. The escargot got to the table very quickly and was quickly pounced on by my wife. The next few moments are not family friendly and almost embarrassing - picture that scene from 'When Harry Met Sally' but with more inappropriate moaning. Our children are scarred for life now.Everything got to the table quickly and hot.The gravy and the pizza sauce for the poutine/pizza combos the kids had were quite peppery, but all delicious. The chicken souvlaki wrap and salad i had were fantastic. The right balance of flavors, meat to sauce, to veg ratio. The salad on the side was a little oily but it was so nice to have a homemade vinegar/oil dressing it didnt matter. The biggest suprise was the meat sauce/cheese poutine. We were skeptical but it was very very good. Our waitress was back and forth numerous times to fill our water glasses and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying the meal.We skipped out on dessert because the meal was so filling. Our bill came quickly, we paid, and were on our way back to the hotel. For our first meal in Quebec we were very happy and although we didnt speak he language, felt like any other customer that could.

We had breakfast here on our way to Baie St Paul. It's about 1 km from the highway but easily accessible. The food was average. The restaurant is huge and the menu is varied; there is something for everyone in your group. We noticed that you can pick up food to go. We bought a 'goose pie' (only available in the Fall). We had it for supper that evening and found it so good, we wet back (on our way back to Ottawa) and bought four more. It was simply delicious and so different from other meat pies. I was told they have it available until early January. At 15.00$, we considered it quite affordable.

Un peu des deux, un a envie de pizza, l'autre poulet. Why not! et pourquoi pas la poutine?. Bon rapport qualité/prix et si vous bénéficiez des rabais c'est parfait.

The people working at this restaurant are so friendly. Although they stayed busy with local customers, they were extremely helpful to us (American tourists), offering great service. The pizza was good, and we didn't wait long for it. You can sit at the bar, in their very clean dining area, or take out.

Nous sommes arrêtés manger au Normandin pour dîner. Un service et un ambiance parfaite. Une belle déco et des banquette confortable! Je vous le recommande fortement. Choisissez la lasagne suprême avec le velouté de courge.

My partner suggested this place after a long day of playing in a 10-hour pétanque tournament in a nearby town. We ordered the usual Québécois fare: pizza and fries. Of course it was good AND you get a lot for your money. I ordered a mini pizza and still had two slices leftover to take home. The mini pizza may look small, but it is packed with ingredients--I ordered the Greek pizza. And the fries came in a large plate bowl. The service was nice and friendly which made my experience there better--we spoke French.

So you've searched the world over for the perfect pizza. It's taken you to Chicago where they claim to have the best 'pie'. New York City, Sydney, and even Rome. But the best pizza hides itself in a small town right in the middle of a little residential area. You've found it, even though the locals know and keep it secret for a reason. Do not waste your time ordering other food (unless of course you can eat more than the pizza). This is it. Simply the World's Best Pizza!!

We had wandered around Trois-Rivières taking in the views and stumbled across this place near to our hotel. An attractive frontage and an interesting and good value looking menu resulted in coming back later to eat for dinner. What a great place. Buzzing inside with a large restaurant area and lovely terrace at the rear where we got a table. The atmosphere was lively - just the sound of people enjoying good company and good food. Our waiter was first class, very helpful, enjoyed our broken French and was very friendly. We had a salmon pasta dish and and a prawn and scallop linguine. Our request for the green salad âon the sideâ was a bit of a surprise for the waiter who checked we wanted it â a la meme tempsâ as the mains. Both pasta dishes were excellent and the salad was a generous portion with an excellent dressing and included the smallest tomatoes I think I have ever seen! Altogether a great meal. Well done
