Went for a light lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. Sat outside overlooking the lake, under the canopy which had a nice breeze. The girl was lovely who served us and helped us translate the menu. The food was yummy and the ice cream delicious. Highly recommend for a lunch but probably not for dinner.
Pinseria - Bistrot Pizza alla pala, menu hamburger gourmet con pane pinsa fatto in casaMiG e tanti sfizzi.
A cute little place near the road, but the food was delicious! We had a lot of different pizza's which were all great.

Arriving in Trevignano tiring, wet and hungry at 2pm, we stumbled by this bakery and thought that it was just a normal bakery. Turned out that it wasn't! You will see a small glass window for pizza by the bakery inside, and then there will be a tiny cozy restaurant. We had a portion of pasta and a vegetables dish, which we can't even remember exactly the name now, but the flavour memory does linger around. We were pleasantly given 3 types of bread and a small plate of cheese with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. No words to describe it, and it started our meal so so well with the doughy taste from bread and creamy slightly sweet one from the cheese. The pasta was chosen from the pesce (fish section), and it's the only one with the "pasta" word in that section (sorry for my Dory memory). When you see the plate, you maybe surprised because you see nothing but yellow pasta and some sprinkle of green veggies on it. BUT, when you smell it and got your 1st bite, the flavour of the whole sea swims into your mouth. It was a squid or cuttlefish pasta dish, without a sight of that animal in the dish. The food was so so good that we had to put our bread into the pasta to soak up some of that lovely delicious oil. The vegetables was just a normal portion of boil or slightly stir-fried veggies of the season with a lemon. Not too much to mention about. After the meal, we took away a slice of margheritta pizza and a white pizza. Cannot resist it so we finished the red-sauced pizza right at the front door of the bakery-restaurant. So delicious. Crunchy, flavourful sauce. The white one is great too with the sprinkle of non-refined salt on it. We brought it home and matched it with a homemade tomato sauce. So good!!!The lady was so kind that she offered us some cookies at the bakery, even asked if we want some chocolate or jam :P The chef also came to check us out if everything was ok during the meal. Everything, including a glass of white wine, came out with the bill of 18euros :) You can even buy some wine from Porto (Portugal) here. It seems that the owner has some affairs with Portugal ;) In short, come straight in and don't be shy!! They don't speak English though, but just let them surprise you with their amazing pasta dishes :D

This place.... I wish we would have known about it the first time we visited Trevignano. We were able to squeeze in at the end of the patio seating in front of the restaurant... we thought they might forget about us but instead we had amazing service! The food....so delicious...everything! The steak was melt in your mouth goodness and the specialty pizza there was to die for!
Proveremo sicuramente a breve.

During our 3-night stay in Trevignano Romano this was the best place we've had dinner at. And also - on our whole 5-week trip through Italy - this place had the best pizza!Like some other posters said, this place now sits right at the lake at their new location. Great food with a great view.Service was fast and friendly and our dog welcome (we were sitting outside of course). We ordered a litre of red house wine (6 Euros!), Spaghetti Vongole, Pizza Diavola and a Panna Cotta for dessert. The Spaghetti were perfectly al dente and the vongole fresh. The Pizza looked normal, but tasted fantastic. Just a few ingredients: Mozzarella, spicy salami, fresh and fruity tomato base, some spices. Combined with a crispy thin dough. But together that made a perfect pizza, like I said: best one yet in Italy.Panna Cotta for dessert was nice, light and refreshing with raspberries and blueberries. And the whole meal only was 33 Euros. Talk about value. Great location, friendly staff, great dishes....what else you need. Highly recommended.Wanna know more about me and my trips? Check my profile.

We went there on a Monday night in September. The place was empty and looked closed but we tried anyway.Right after we sat at least 20 people arrived and because they were locals we knew we are in a right place.Huge outside terrace, busy place , tasty food, what else you can ask for?Very big portions, real Italian pizza and reasonable prices.

I wanted to introduce a friend of mine to the Italian cuisine and I couldn't have found a better restaurant! As a starter, we had delicious cold cuts with three different kinds of cheese. We then decided to skip the first course and to enjoy some fish: I got a sea bass seasoned with herbs and cooked in the oven (really tasty!), and my friend was more for a fish fry (squids and shrimps) which was perfectly cooked and not too oily! We also enjoyed a Tiramisu and a semifreddo, two typical Italian desserts which were delicious (they were clearly homemade :P)!! In the end, everything was perfect and the staff were really nice too! We also met the owner of the place, that with his strange name, Terzino, and his good manners, made our stay in Palazzetto incredibly pleasant! I really think I'll come again soon and I suggest everyone do the same!

The restaurant looks just up to "ok", some of the chair covers were stained. The waiters were unhelpful and clumsy. We were not offered a taste of the wine (which is a normal standard) and the bottle was just left on the table. The starters:Antipasto di terra consisted solely of few cured meat slices and a chilly jam to pair with god knows what. The sauteed mussels were just not fresh. The Mains:Fried shrimps were apparently good.Fried lake fish was horrible, if you know the different species you would have realized that two out of three were not what was written on the menu. The lowest bit was the batter, bright yellow, tasted like frittata, IF and I say IF it was handmade I heavily question by who and what training he/she has on cooking. We have never been asked if the food was ok.The prices are absolutely stellar high compared to what is served.Though but absolutely accurate.
