In the US this would be called "reasonable bar food." Pizzas by US comparison are average (Spain comparison closer to very good), and burgers by US comparison are very good. Very inexpensive and good wine. Pizza and burgers all hours. Kids will like it. The margarita pizza is very good.

Our second night here and I couldn't face another cochinilla or lechuga so we went for a pizza and a lasagne di carne. Both very nice. House red was a young tempranillo rioja, preceded by a beer while waiting for the kitchen to open at 8. Finished off with a sicilia bitter. Not a lot of indoor seating but a nice meal.

This restaurant is near the main plaza and was outstanding in every way. The staff were welcoming and spoke good English. The pasta and pizza we enjoyed were generous in size and absolutely delicious. We had to book a table for the following day as they were so busy when we first dropped in. It was worth the wait for we non-meat eaters. Segovia is a wonderful town but the local restaurants offer very little for vegetarians - hence Da Mario was really appreciated. It was very kind of then to give us a complimentary little glass of limoncello to finish off a great meal. Highly recommended!
