Family with 2 adults, 2 kids. Dinner cost around 55 Euro including 1/2 L of wine, bottle of water and drinks for kids. Great homemade pizza. Great pasta bolognese. Fabulous pork stuffed with parma ham. Flexible on gelato offerings for kids. Popular with locals and hard to get into during weekends/vacations without reservations. Will definitely go again!

We had a real Italian pizza, nice Calabrese salad, hearty soup. Staff were friendly and efficient and the ambience was very Italian. They were serving a number of local mushroom (seasonal) specials that looked good and it is great to see them working with the local supply. Prices were reasonable and quality was good.

I had the (rather good) risotto, but both my dining companions raved about the trout.Pleasant airy dining room, with friendly Italian waiting staff. Quite full (Saturday night), but service was surprisingly prompt (just as well, as we were in a hurry). It serves pizza (and pasta), but it's not *just* a pizzeria.

I have to say that that was a wonderful meal we had there last weekend. The meat dishes (one pork and one beef rumpsteak) were very well executed and had a great taste. All meals were a decent size and were all freshly prepared with care and attention to detail. The pizzas, however, were the highlight. Mine was a rocket salad/smoked salmon pizza topped with coarsley grated parmesan. That was by far the best pizza I have eaten in years. The rocket still crispy, the smoked salmon juuust catching the temperature and the parmesan freshly grated before serving. Wow!The other pizza was a plain Margherita but topped with good ammount of mozarella and evenly and lightly spiced. The espressi afterwards were very good, too.Service was superb. The atmosphere keeps to the 'Da Vinci' theme which might seem a little left in the 90s but once the food hits the table that is all forgotten. This won't be the last time we'll have gone there. We will be back for more as the menu has enough to chose from - from hearty German food to good Italian.Pricewise this ranges in a medium level but compared to the other restaurants around that area it is a very good and decent amount for the money.Of course they serve local south-west German wines, too.

popular, busy pizzeria in the village. Efficient staff. The food was average, nothing special, but a little different to usual Italian. The lasagne had ham and egg in it. It was tasty and bubbling when it arrived. the pizza had a good crispy base. Water was expensive.Good atmosphere
