Discosti dalla strada principale. Pochi tavoli. Meglio riservare.Servizo discreto. Pasta della pizza buona.Oserei tralasciare la mozzarella con il pesce.

We drove to Locarno from Stresa and wanted a simple, light lunch. We found Al Torchio at the edge of the busy section with a patio that looks on a park, the lake , marinas and mountains. My only real negative comment is that the board out front advertised a daily special for 19.50 (which was Swiss Francs or 17 â¬) When we received the menu, aside from pizza, most dishes were much more. Once we found things to order, everything was very fresh and delicious. My husband started with the insalata mista. It had several lettuces, carrots, cucumbers, big chunks of tomato, green beans and beets and was dressed with a light vinaigrette. I had ordered an entree salad which was the insalata mista plus tuna, and was the perfect light lunch I was seeking. 16 Fr (about 14â¬) seemed a bit high, but The portions were generous. My husband ordered tagliatelle Bolognese which was very good, very hot and a generous portion. I had some after he was finished, and we still left some. Had we been there with a larger group, salads and pastas could have been shared.

Siamo stati da voi sabato 13 aprile per scoprire il nuovo team e la cucina. Sottolineo che non siamo in campeggio ma ci piace frequentare il posto perché bello e i numerosi parcheggi ci permettono di raggiungervi facilmente. Siamo stati accolti con cortesia. Abbiamo mangiato la crema di asparagi e lâinsalata di polipo e patate come antipasto, il galletto alla diavola e la tagliata di manzo al pepe della Vallemaggia come piatto forte, e concluso la cena col semifreddo agli amaretti e la crem brûlé fatti in casa. Tutto eccellente. Lo consigliamo e torneremo presto. Grazie mille

Located just off the busy Piazza Grande, Percabbo offers a varied menu of pizza, pasta, risotto, meat and fish in a modern and sleek ambiance. The restaurant was full on a Monday and is open on Sundays. We enjoyed ultra-fresh tuna tartar and tender (not chewy) grilled octopus as starters. We then shared a juicy rib eye steak, done to our liking, with sides of fragrant rosemary roasted potatoes and fresh sauteed spinach. Every dish was pleasing to the eye and tasty. The waitress didn't frown when we asked to share the sizeable main course, as sometimes happens. On the contrary, she was friendly and efficient throughout the service. A welcome addition to the Locarno restaurant scene.

Tenero is just a mile or so from Locarno, one of the cities you must visit when in Ticino.And this is really worth stopping at. The pizzas are great and big, the salads fresh. All this served with a constant smile.A great discovery.This restaurant is on a calm small place with plenty of park spaces (some dedicated to the restaurant some public and to be paid)

Ottima pizza e un ottimo cannolo siciliano con ricotta fresca e un personale accogliente. In più al lunedì la pizza costa 10 CHF (ma noi non lo sapevamo)

It is a small restaurant but with a live, young and friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent - the meat is definitely a must; it's mouth-watering, no matter which cut you go for. The pizza is excellent too. The service is good and the prices are ok, definitely a great value for money.

The eatery does not look very appealing, but the food here is very good and at excellent value. The sea bass is not to be missed, and the oil & garlic spaghetti is excellent here. I don't recommend the dessert here but it wasn't bad. Location: Once you reach the church turn right and the restaurant will be to your right.
