A rolling mesa at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Taos has a magical quality. Its rugged beauty, majestic mountains, wild Rio Grande river and unique blend of cultures - Spanish, Native American and Anglo - have historically drawn artists and photographers, evidenced by the plentiful galleries, museums and festivals. To experience the Native American culture here, explore Taos Pueblo, where the Tiwa Native Americans have practiced their traditions for centuries. Finally, the Anglo influence is prevalent in the business district, with its shops, art galleries and some of the finest restaurants in New Mexico. Skiing is also a major draw, but the challenging slopes are geared to the more advanced crowd. There's no rat race here; a fair share of non-mainstreamers have made this laid-back, low-key mecca their home. You, too, may not want to leave its tranquility and natural beauty.

I hate to think how many Pizza Hut pizzas I've ordered for delivery over the years, but far too many. After seeing a sit down Pizza Hut in Taos, I thought it would be a nice change to kick back and eat one fresh out of the oven. Boy was that a mistake. This place was a wreck. The people working here were wearing disposable gloves as they served us. It took a good amount of time to get our pizza, and when it arrived, not only did it not have extra cheese, but what they put on didn't even cover the large pizza we ordered. Do your self a favor and just turn your head as you pass this place.
This pizza restaurant came highly reviewed, but sadly did not live up to the hype. The pizza was cold and cut in squares so that people just had chunks of crust with no toppings in some servings, the taste was nondescript and less tasty than frozen pizza, the service was awful and the price was ridiculously high for what you got. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not eat there again.

Had pizza delivered to the hotel after a long day of travel. Was delivered on time as stated and it was good. Nice and hot. What more can you ask for when you are being to lazy to go out and eat elsewhere :-).

Great food, friendly staff and decent prices. Everything I tried here was delicious. There's also more parking than it would appear, which is rare in Taos.

The food was really good but the service was really slow. It took a while to be seated and there were plenty of tables open. Once we got seated it took awhile to get a drink/food order. The food, once arrived, was really good. Would recommend for food but not if you are looking for good service.

Freshly Made Pizzas, Pastas, Salads, & Soups. Our House Made Pesto Vinaigrette Is Amazing! We Offer Beer & Wine. To-Go or Dine In.
We ordered a 12"-inch Greek pizza and a 12"-inch Pizza Primavera and they stated that they would be ready in 15 minutes. Arrived 5 minutes later and the pizzas were not ready. Not ready for another 15 minutes during which time no apology was offered and actually nothing by way of customer friendliness. I finally got my pizzas and brought them to our lodgings in Taos. The pizzas, heaped with mounds of just the right amount of vegies was superb, excellent - some of the best pizza we have ever eaten, second only on this trip to Santa Fe's Upper Crust pizza and, to be honest, BETTER than 98.5% of all New York pizzas and having lived in NYC for 13 years I have had my share of supposed legendary pizzas. Out Back's were every bit as good and actually much better than most of these NYC pizzas. Too bad about the lax service - a simple offer of a "sorry" and/or glass of water would have made everything fine. Thanks for the nice details on the quality of the product.Hope your in again soon.

First of all, we have never had such a good antipasto...a meal in itself....DELICIOUS...assortment of cheeses, olives, peppers, turkey, ham,salami...loved the dressing....it was the best. And the pizza was like the kind we grew up with in Connecticut...nice dry crust...none of that oily stuff

Taos Mesa Brewing Town Tap Room features craft beer from our brewery and an inspired wood fired pizza menu! Prost!
We were lucky to find something decent open upon our late arrival to Taos, NM in August. Most places are fast food options. Taos Mesa Brewing has incredible pizza that is fire roasted so the crust is just perfectly thick/thin and slightly crunchy. My favorite style of pizza. The gourmet level options on the pizzas made our whole family very happy. We shared some grilled peppers for an appetizer and had some local brewed beer. The pizza is a bit costly but completely worth it. AND, we really appreciate them being open later than most Taos restaurants.
