We ordered three different take out pizzas for a party. The Supreme topping was really good, particularly the spinach which you don't find often. However, I found that the crust was a little soggy. I didn't try the other pizzas: one peperoni and the other plain cheese but everyone seemed to enjoy them.

Vazzy's on Main Street in Stratford looks like a just another pizza joint in a small strip mall. Wrong! The Italian food is indeed front and center -- and superb. The usual dishes, spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine Alfredo, chicken piccata, baked ziti and all the rest are top notch and offer very generous portions. Their house special pastas are especially wonderful -- interesting, well balanced in flavor and delicious. Dishes like Pasta Coco with hot cherry peppers, Gorgonzola, and sausage or chicken; and Pasta Rustica with sausage, chicken, peppers, mushrooms and onions, to name a few, are served piping hot and to the place's customary high standards. The surprise comes when you try the lamb chops (where do they find them so big and so thick?) or the prime rib that are frequently served as specials. I've never had them better anywhere else. A small cavil is that salads are usually a la carte, and service on busy Friday nights is a bit slow -- but the crowds testify to how good are the food and convivial atmosphere. Give Vazzy's a try, and go for the unexpectedly delicious specials. I dine there once or twice a week. Buon appetito!

Each spring I travel from Virginia to Connecticut. One of the activities I most look forward to is pizza from Lordship Pizza. Lots of options on their menu (spaghetti, grinders, salads), but I always stick with their pizza which is first rate. And there is never any left to eat cold for breakfast!

Staying at the Homewood Suites in Straford and was given a menu from the front desk. $3.00 off a $20.00 purchase was the incentive. Chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks and a personal shrimp pizza (with white sauce) was our order. Everything was excellent. The shrimps were large. I actually took the marinara home from the mozzarella sticks and used it the next day to make chicken parm. The restaurant was a short drive (less than 10 minutes) from the hotel. The next evening my daughter was craving the chicken. This time we called for delivery. They said the wait would be 45 minutes - we were pleasantly surprised that it was much less than that. The food was delivered nice and warm. Unfortunately the chicken was a tad burned. Mozzarella sticks were still perfect. I'm sure if we had the time to complain, they would have redid the order for us. Will definitely visit again.

We both had salads one chicken Caesar and one shrimp Caesar salad. Both had wayyy to much dressing and were horribly soggy. Mozzarella sticks to start were good but for the price of salad to have such a horrible salad on both accounts was unacceptable. Will not be back.

I come here for lunch occasionally. The pizza is very good, and non greasy just how I like it. I feel this place is underrated. They are located right next to Sikorsky , and should be packed. Owner, and staff are very friendly. Overall, good experience.

We called for pizza it was too late but it was only 7 pm on a Friday. Their pizza is great the only issue is they close too early. We ended up having to go to the original Papa's. The pizza is never disappointing,

Friends of ours love this place. A group of 7 of us went Saturday night. We got there about 7:30. Still a wait. Seated within 10 minutes. Really cool place. Former garage. Tons of old garage/gas station paraphernalia everywhere! All the pizzas are one size. We ordered 4 between us. No body was stuffed, but nobody was hungry. We ordered the Apple pizza pie also. All the pizzas were very good. Some different combos. Would go back for sure. Right across the street from the brewery. Check it out for yourself and decide!

What a wonderful surprise - I have lived in Stratford and have never eaten here - The pizza was amazing. The atmosphere wonderfully casual - even my husband's chicken cutlet was great! What a great easy family place. They don't take reservations so you will have to wait but it was so worth it.

Serving fine Greek & Italian cuisine in the heart of Stratford, CT for over 45 years. Dine in, full bar, take out & catering. Paradise Pizza, where our family takes care of your family.
As we were leaving, we asked the secret to their Greek salad. They said, "Greek feta, and Greek olive oil." Well, I don't know about the olive oil, but I am now searching for real Greek feta. That salad is wonderful. We both had the gyro sandwich and side salad. A bargain at $6.95. (December, 2017). The salad is fantastic. Get whatever you want, but, please order a Greek salad with it. I one time just ordered a Greek salad, and it was so big, I had to take some home. My mouth is watering now!
