My rating is in the context of this genre of pizza place. It is not the best pizza I ever had but with low expectations in the middle of the valley we were pleasantly surprised. Pizza was fresh made with good ingredients. Service was friendly. And if you happen to want to play some games or watch a sporting event on TV it had that too.

Located in downtown Soledad in the local bowling alley, this place is now called California Gourmet Pizza and is a rare find. Formerly âCheesers Gourmet Pizzaâ, it has amazingly good pizza as well as offering a full service bar adjacent to the pizza restaurant. We ordered the veggie pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. I usually like meat on a pizza but I can honestly say that I did not miss the meat on this one at all â it even had artichokes on it. Very delicious. We enjoyed sitting in the area above the bowling lanes and watching several groups of children celebrate a couple of birthdays by bouncing the balls down the alleys.

Be warned- this Round Table is slow. The wait times that you may be quoted online and the actual wait time varies. We ordered on a random Sunday night. Took an hour and a half to deliver our order of one pizza and one appetizer! Ridiculous. The pizza is "average" and what you can expect from a typical Round Table, but the wait times for delivery are absurd.If you want delivery and you expect it within 30-45 minutes, try one of the local places in town, Cheezers or Gabilan.
