We went to Rosies and I can tell you I am a pizza snob from Denver Colorado. This by far beats ANYTHING we have here. Perfect fennel old school sausage. Sauce is not overwhelming, and the crust is not overly thick or thin and bread-like. Has the right amount of crispness. It is not greasy. Like another reviewer saidâ if I was on Death-Row I would make Rosies pizza my last mealâ !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry's Pizza is a Sioux City staple. Follower's of Jerry's pizza swear by it. I personally am not a fan. I prefer El Fredo's. Jerry's pizza does not really use any detectable tomato based sauce making it fairly dry. The crust is cooked too long putting a hard burnt crunch on it. The combination of a dry pizza on an overly crunchy crust is not my thing. I do like the toppings. Their veggie pizza had a great mix of toppings. The green olives and onions came through nicely. The combination pizza also had nice flavors in the pepperoni with a nice mix of cheese.Jerry's is located on the edge of Morningside College. They are a delivery and pick-up only location. There are no seats to eat inside. I'm highly annoyed at the cash only business. We are well past that era. The pizzas are not cheap. A single pizza with tax, tip and delivery is $20. We ordered two and had to search the house to come up with $40. I won't order again. Cash only is crazy.

We needed a place for dinner and drinks for a large group and called on short notice. The Townhouse was able to accommodate us. The area in which we were seated was not the most comfortable. It was several long tables with, of course, half the seats right up against the wall and the other half with seats facing the wall. Anyone on the far end of the table had to scoot in behind the rest of the group or have others stand up each time in order to be able get out. After about a 30 minutes of this mild annoyance, we ended up splitting up the tables. This was not a huge problem. Our waitress was probably the best part of the night. She checked with us often and handled the large group well and didn't seem to mind when we wanted to split tabs at the end of the night. I was drinking beer on tap. It wasn't the coldest. I should have stuck with the Diet Coke. A few of us started with that and we pleased when we were given a pitcher rather than having to bother the waitress with refills. I split a pizza with 2 other people. It came after some people in the group were more than half done with their food. This wasn't a huge issue for us but it may bother some. I know it is hard to time for large groups. The Townhouse seems as if it could use a good deep cleaning. Our menus and salt and pepper shakers were covered in a thin layer of grease. It makes me wonder about the kitchen. I guess I would rather not know. The women's bathroom floor could also use some attention.Overall, it was a good experience and we appreciated having a place that could accommodate our group on just a day's notice. The Townhouse has been around forever. It is a great spot for watching sports and to just hang out with friends.

Pizza was great, especially the one we ordered as our buffet choice, Canadian bacon, sausage, sauerkraut, with Alfredo sauce. Person attending to the chicken section was on the ball and very polite. Mgr left a bad taste in my mouth. Checked our receipt and found out we had been overcharged. Went up to register as we were leaving and let all patrons coming in, go before us. When I went to explain to her, she stuttered and then asked me not to yell. Lol! I was talking in my regular voice, and told her so and said if I was yelling, everyone would have heard me, not just her. The other employee behind me, hadn't even looked up from his phone, showing my voice wasn't raised! It got corrected and compensated, but she left a lingering taste in my mouth!

We wanted to check out this place as we'd heard it was good. Well, it is! We split a 14" Neapolitan Pizza with Italian (spicy) sausage and jalapeno peppers. Also each had a side salad which comes with mixed greens, choice of cheese and three veggies and dressing. I had the feta cheese, banana peppers, red onion and sun dried tomatoes with balsamic dressing....really fresh and really good! Family members had more of a Caesar take on theirs and also enjoyed it. Would recommend ordering your salad first and eating that (unless you want them together) and then ordering your pizza because the pizza was ready before we even got the salads to our table. So they are FAST!!!!! The pizza cooks in about 2 minutes if that. Really fast and really good. Thin crust and the sausage was excellent the jalapeños just the right amount of spicy but not burn your throat and choke you. More than enough for the three of us to split and still had some to take home. Service was fast but they didn't really have enough personnel to keep up with the orders and keep the dining area cleared up after patrons had left. It's a self serve, go thru the line restaurant but the patrons haven't gotten to the point where they clean up after themselves so there's lot of messes on the tables. They were crazy busy so maybe it'd be better if they weren't quite so packed. The whole meal with a beer for my husband came to $35.22 so not cheap but not bad for quality food done right.

Service was terrible. Could hardly get the bar tenders attention. Finally, I was able to order 10 chicken wings. I ordered them extra crispy. They came out sloppy and soft. I sent them back. They came back sloppy and soft again. Who is running this kitchen? I will never go ever again.

We ate here with our children and didn't come for the beer - apparently we were the ONLY ones in that situation. Regardless, we had a good meal (except they prepared my husbands with cheese after he specifically requested no cheese - but they replaced it quickly and I believe they removed it from our bill so that was a nice gesture). The margherita pizza is yum!Be aware that this place is LOUD - not the place to go to try to talk to your tablemates. Our waiter seemed to wish he was anywhere other than working at Old Chicago. Unfortunate.

Stopped in for a quick to go order. I had the small, pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese. Hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Sauce is on point as is the rest of the ingredients. If I'm ever back in Sioux City again, I'll be sure and stop in.

I've been visiting Buffalo Alice's since the 80's when it was located on Pearl Street. It moved to the remodeled 4th street area with all the other cools restaurants and shops in downtown. The place still looks a bit like a dive, but it does not have that run-down feeling. There are two reasons to visit Buffalo Alices: Pizza and craft beer. They do a really good job making fresh pizzas. It's not as good as Jerry's or El Fredo's, but it's up there. Having craft beer on tap makes it that much better.Service here is two stars. They don't care and or even try to make small talk. They do the minimum to get you a beer and take your order. The rest of the time they huddle and talk with each other or get on their phone.

Pick up or dine in only. They have a special almost every day of the week. Call ahead, they get super busy. We love the jumbo combination, plenty of great toppings and their sauce is awesome. Used to be a comedy club, currently does not offer any entertainment. You order your pizza at the window, go select a table then they call your number for you to pick up. Drinks, etc. are mostly self serve, but it is worth a stop.
