Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Sintra. Long the home of Portugal’s monarchs, Sintra is a magnificent town of marvelous historic mansions, all set against the backdrop of lush hills. Sintra’s many castles include the Palácio Nacional de Sintra (a main abode of Portuguese royalty until the early 20th century), the hilltop and storybook Palácio da Pena, Quinta de Regaleira (incorporating several architectural styles and with gorgeous surrounding gardens), the Castelo dos Mouros (Moorish Castle), and the Palácio de Monserrate.

Imagine yourself on a warm summer afternoon, having a delicious pizza made with super fresh ingredients after a great day at the beach, along with someone you love, on a cozy esplanada with the most caring/smiling service. The Roulotte da Gigi has (almost) it all. You must bring your own dearest, I took mine with me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas and maracuja sangria in Giallo d'oro. We didn't want to fall victim to the typical tourist trap restaurants near the main square so we came across this restaurant while on our search for dinner. The friendly service and delicious pizza and drinks really made this a 5 star review! It is only a 2 minute walk to the train station so it's perfect for anyone heading back to Lisbon after a long day or walking around Sintra! We are absolutely delighted to have found this gem of a pizza place in Sintra! We are glad that you have found us before going back to Lisbon. Thanks a lot for recommending our food, drinks AND service. It was a pleasure to have such a nice couple with us for dinner. We hope to see you soon!

Pizzeria, with only fresh ingredients, family place with cozy ambiance and rustic deco. Our speciality are the thin crust pizza, with 100% mozzarella and our special garlic bread. Lasagne and tortellini, are also magnificent.
This is definitely better than the pizzeria in Praia das Maças, the only 2 that we know in the area. Nice cosy dining room, very helpful english speaking waitresses, smashing chilli sauce, fun lambrusco sangria. This is not your typical portuguese restaurant but it was full of portuguese. You can also order take away. One thing we need to ask next time is why are wine glasses smaller for women
