I have had all of the other pizza shops' pizzas and Little Caesar's is similar. For me, a great pizza has an abundance of toppings and cheese. If toppings are sparse, the pizza is just dough and sauce and that makes it average.

I generally prefer Domino's over the other nation-wide pizza chain options, but this location frequently misses-the-mark. The last three times I've ordered from here, it has been made incorrectly. Last time I visited in August, the air conditioning was out and the employees were all standing outside smoking or lounging, and the man preparing the pizzas was going back and forth between handling money and making pizza, without washing his hands, while dripping sweat into the pizzas he was making. Disgusting....I won't be there again.
For Papa John's Pizza in Shelby, NC, the secret to success is much like the secret to making a better pizza - the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. Whether it's our signature sauce, toppings, our original fresh dough, or even the box itsel
I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised by Papa John's pizza. The pizzas I have ordered have ben hot and fresh and made exactly as I ordered. I have been especially impressed with their crust. It is perfectly cooked and so fresh.
Papa John's is the only restaurant that delivers if you are outside the city limits of Shelby. I ordered two pizzas, 8 wings, 1 liter soft drink and the bill was $60! The pizza was just okay - very skimpy on both toppings and cheese. The wings were terrible. Tiny little things with sauce poured over them.
I had heard done decent compliments on this place and maybe the pizza is different I don't know because after we went the first time we haven't been back. Pasta plate was full of water. Bread was horrible. My chicken parm same wet and soggy on bottom pasta was not done right. Maybe one day I will try the place again but my kid will not set foot in there says it was the worst place she had ever eaten.

I'm usually there on Wednesday's for the Senior Citizen (Oh god I can't get use to saying that) dinner, which is at a discount price. I usually go around 3 because the place is usually packed around dinner, Yep, its that good. They do pizza requests, have a full staff, and a family friendly atmosphere, In fact, a lot of families dine there, Senior Citizen Day or not. The weekends are usually full of friends and family enjoying the buffet. The favorites are there Pepperoni, Taco Pizza, Olives, Peppers, etc. and the tea is some of the best in Shelby. Dixon Blvd is actually highway 74 so tons of travelers will stop by on their way to the mountains. TVs on so if you love sports, you'll have a good view. It's fairly clean, and easy to get out of if you're traveling west.
I had read an article in our local paper about this place having livermush pizza. We just had to try it since we love livermush. It was AWESOME!! All the other options on the buffet were just as good as well. I would highly recommend this place if you like pizza. We will definitely be back again in the future!!

Top notch new restaurant!!! My group split a pizza, House calzone, and the special of the day ("The Godfather" Stromboli)- plus we had the most delicious cannolis for dessert. Everything was *incredible*! Reminds me of a meal you can only find in NYC. Great family-owned place, a must-try!

Pretty good pizza and pasta. Not many options for Italian food in Shelby, so itâs nice to have Toscanos. The space, previously 5 East and Smoke on the Square, is a beautiful place. Weâve received good service each time weâve visited, and we also enjoyed getting call-in and take-out pizza. Can get busy at times. Parking isnât much trouble around the square unless thereâs a major event going on in uptown.

This place is located in a small town in NC with big town quality and taste! The pizza and beer weekly special on Tuesdays are a must! Several local brews on tap and the most amazing wood fired pizza! Outstanding quality and always worth the wait!
