This place needs an urgent change of management dated 3/08/19 . I was overcharged one glass of wine on 3/08/19 during my 2 weeks visit to the Amalfi coast by the (self-proclaimed) manager himself (bringing my total bill from around 26 Euros to around 32 Euros), and he refused to take the excessive charge off my bill, or to acknowledge that I had been overcharged, despite my repeated attempts to highlight that I had been overcharged. I only had a one course meal that night and so I was very concious that I only had two glasses of wine, and he couldn't present any evidence that I had consumed 3 glasses of wine. I also brought the matter to the attention of other customers in the restaurant, and mentioned that I might write an unfavourable review about the restaurant on Trip Advisor. This unfortunate experience made me think that the existing management of this restaurant doesn't really care about customer satisfaction or potentially negative Trip Advisor reviews, and therefore I would certainly never return to or recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Pogerola and the Amalfi coast.Dear Sir, I am the owner who proclaimed himself that evening. I answer you just to let you know the truth. That evening I took his ordination which consisted of a fusillo and a glass of wine (Greco di Tufo) (the first)Then you asked my colleague for another glass of wine (the second)Finally, when I asked you if you still liked something, you replied that you wanted another glass of wine (THE THIRD)that among other things I have poured you by opening the bottle in front of you since the previous one was finished with the second cup served to you. This was your dinnerThen .. you asked for the bill and when it was brought to you, you told my colleague that the glasses of wine you took were 2 and not 3.At that point the colleague called me to explain the situation to me and after giving me the certainty of having served you the glass of wine I intervened.Thenâ¦. first of all we take orders with the PDA and therefore everything we serve goes automatically to the account and therefore nothing can escape. Then if you well remember, given your insistence on not wanting to pay for the third glass of wine, initially I told you that I would have offered you a glass. But you kept on murmuring in English over and over again "bad services .. bad services" .. at that point I told you with a firm voice that you could even pay for 2 glasses of wine but you had consumed 3.Then you stood up arrogantly and making a big voice (you made all the other guests laugh) you wanted to leave without paying anything. I stopped you and invited you to pay the amount dueThis answer is only to give justice to the truth and to defend my seriousness and that of the guys who work with me.And maybe even to make you realize the figure you did ... given that ⬠4 more does not change life but save dignity.Giuseppe

Enjoyed our meal/evening. Great friendly service. The anchovies appetizer was the best we have had on our holiday. Also had the prosciutto melon appetizer which was very fresh. We had the lemon linguine that came with an outstanding creamy sauce. We had the house red wine which was good. Priced favourably for quality and quantity.

We went for a relatively early dinner. Literally 30 seconds after we sat down the waitress came to take the order; when we said we hadn't even had a chance to look she went away and it kind of went downhill from there. It was probably 20-30 minutes before we were able to get her attention again and even my dad who's very laid back was on the verge of walking out.The food was pretty OK but the portion sizes were unmanageable. My dad had octopus as an appetiser and it was enormous - and then the mushroom risotto was also very large. Fine if you're American and planning to become Mr Creosote but really, it was too much.

Since 1955, a tasty history Inside the narrow streets, through the Moorish streets and all the little squares near the sea, Minor collects the scents and flavors of it are cooking traditions. Here, let us not forget, was produced handmade pasta, which bec
Stopped in during our week-long stay in Minori after reading all the great reviews. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Both indoor and covered outdoor seating. Service was generally inattentive (even by Italian waiter standards). Food was good, but not any better than other local restaurants and pricier. We didn't go back.Dear jkp99b,thanks a lot for choosing our restaurant!I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations although we always do our best.Hopefully you'll give us one more chance in the future, grazie,Antonio & Giovanni Di Bianco.

Pizza Express Amalfi is a small shop that you can easily find along the main street of the ancient Maritime Republic. Here you will find sympathy, speed and a lot of "goodness"! Anything you like prepared in front of your eyes in a few minutes!
After a long day on the Path of the Gods, we just wanted to crash at our apartment with pizzas and beers. Happily, Pizza Express sorted us out with great pizzas, made in front of us with fresh dough, in 10 minutes flat. The name tells you everything.

La Rua "Pizze e Delizie is a takeaway pizzeria, rotisserie and bakery family business where all we do is purely HOME MADE with fresh and first choice products.
A quaint small local pizzeria. Family owned. Absolutely welcoming. We eat halal and they were most obliging to prepare vegetarian with washing all utensils and bakeware first and no mixing with any meat products. The kitchen is an open view one and one can see how fresh and clean everything is. The tastiest pizzas we had in Italy. The most welcoming of staff. Luv luv luv this place. A must for any stop in amalfi.

The menus focus on long tradition of the Neapolitan pizza. The aim is to offer a gentle mix of local and fresh products associated with good home-cooking.
A local shop owner (Antoinella from Passagiana) told us to come here; she said it was the best pizza in Ravello, and she was right! In fact, this was the best pizza we had in all of Italy! (And we visited over 10 cities). Beautiful restaurant - great indoor and outdoor seating. And the pizza is marvelous. As is the bread, so fresh! And we had a delicious mixed salad and zucchini soup. Everything on the menu is probably delicious. Amazing and attentive service too. This place is a MUST visit when in Ravello.

This restaurant is not easy to find. Tucked up on a hillside on the border of Pontone/Scala, San Giovanni is run by a brother and sister who are change agents in this medieval village. First, get there before sunset. The view is exceptional. Second, be prepared for a sophisticated vibe that one would not expect in Pontone. Third, the food is exceptional. Service is friendly and on point but the food is very, very good. Ask for some help with the wine selections unless you know Italian wines, and particularly those of Campagna, well. The âlady of the houseâ has an excellent palate, speaks impeccable English and was spot on in her recommendations to us. She knows her products well. The atmosphere was unexpected with the minimalist decor and light jazz playing in the background. Prepare to be surprised.

We stayed at this venue ( separate review) and ate here on 4 occasions out of our 6 day visit for a family wedding . Although this is a mainly pizzeria, they cater for many other tastes including my husbands fascination for steaks. The pizzas are too many to list but I have got a few photos. The staff are always friendly and attentive and is a very family orientated venue. It is family run and they really can't do enough for you. The food itself is excellent and they always give a complimentary starter of foccacia with tomatoes which in itself is a meal. The prices are a little expensive but consistent with the area. They do a special of a half metre pizza which we saw and would easily feed 4 to 6 and definitely the children. Definitely recommended to anyone in the area and locality.

we went here after seeing the tripadvisor reviews and we wasnât disappointed!if your after a fine dining restaurant your going to be disappointed!itâs not really a restaurant, i donât know how to describe it!!we got there about 20 mins before they closed and we were greeted with a smile, we chose to sit outside in the small court yard area and we shared a pizza and both had a half carafe or quarter of house wine and a salad. it was good food and i would definitely go back for a cheap lunch. the waitress advised us to go to valle del ferreire one day and we took her advice and she was right itâs beautiful! i have reviewed this!
